I am reaching out to your nation personally to establish communication, both in hopes of friendship between our lands, as well as mutual benefit. Let it be known that the Kingdom of Singapore recognizes the Republic of Taiwan as a legal, legitimate sovereign nation. Any naysayers from more irrational neighbors shall be treated as the air around their words; like nothing at all. Now I did speak about mutual benefit earlier, and I do intend to address that. The Taiwanese President, Ms. Tsai Ing-wen would place a encrypted video call to her Singaporean counterpart, His Majesty, the King of Singapore, Vincent Wei I. The call is encrypted and Secret Call. Taiwanese Madame President checks the rooms to make sure no one is snooping in. She would placed two armed guard outside the room. Upon green getting signals from National Security Bureau of Taiwan, the call is full encrypted and top secret.

​ [PRIVATE LINE. ENCRYPTED.]​ A secure line has been opened up to the Taiwanese President.​ Vincent kicked his feet onto the cherry-oak wood of his work desk. In his right hand was a glass of bourbon-- his usual drink of choice when handling business. Yusuf, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, glided across the floor gracefully with a military-grade Smartphone sitting on the middle of a black platter. In an eccentrically regal fashion -- a bit too much for even Vincent -- he'd lower the platter to his King, and Vincent would pick up the phone and connect to the line with a smile. "Madame President, I suspect? I am King Wei of Singapore, although you may call me Vincent for simplicity's sake. In any case, I am glad to final speak with you directly."

Upon the screen opened, Madame President Tsai would be dressed formally, she would speak. "Greetings Your Majesty how are you doing today? I do apologize for calling you Vincent. I am surprised to see your message and willing to talk about our relationships in general. I was eagerly waiting for your call. What do I owe you a pleasure? I am happy that we can share our equal perspective and goals about our future relations."

"I'm reaching out to you, Madame President, in an effort to establish strong ties with your own. As the newly-ascended King of Singapore, I decided it was of the upmost importance to seek out potential alliances-- or perhaps better put, agreements of mutual benefit and understanding." Vincent would allow a moment for his words to sink in. "It is my goal to lead my people, and my nation, to economical and technological prosperity. I don't see that happening until Singapore itself retires her role as Asia's money center, and steps up as a regional power to contend with." Of course, such a task wouldn't be easy without the right support. "In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing Taiwan in the same boat. We do, after all, have a mutual threat looming across the South Pacific." There was a chance he was being vague on purpose. Then again, the combination of the Red Southeast Asians and PRC were equally issues to eventually deal with in his book.

Developing more equipment for armed forces, we have become self-sufficient. So, be a powerhouse in Asian- Pacific region is very important because we have tough neighborhood. "For starters, we wish to open up our substantial market freely to the people of Taiwan. I believe an agreement to establish free trade would prove extremely beneficial for both our nations. Second, I would like to increase our ties militarily as well. Our military is rapidly expanding and modernizing, but with these drastic changes came a hit at our overall readiness. Joint-training exercises between our country could prove useful, in the case of one of our neighbors becoming aggressive. Assuming we can come to an agreement, It would also be in my interest to contract Taiwan's defense industries, specifically for the expansion of our navy."

Recently Taiwanese Navy started to develop indigenous guided missile destroyer. The destroyer project will be beneficial for our allies and ourselves. Because the specification of Taiwan-class Guided Missile Stealth Destroyer is entirely indigenous Taiwanese Technologies and armaments. For your navy, we can provide you frigates, destroyers, corvettes, missile boats, submarines. Give us the estimate amount how much are willing to spend to build the naval package. I was rather impressed upon hearing about the Taiwanese navy and the lengths your nation has gone to produce vessels domestically. Altogether I am willing to dedicate up to three and a half billion [3,500,000,000.00 USD] towards the goal. We are extremely interested in acquiring Guided Missile Destroyers, as well as Stealth Corvettes and frigates. I will hold off on the submarines for the time being, although I will specifically request Amphibious Assault Vessels to be added to the package as well. Our goal is to have a navy capable of projecting power across the Southeast, in the short term. Naval Logistics will be important for our doctrine to be successful."

"As for military exercises, I am not in the mind to be timid when it comes to displaying the Singaporean intent to protect itself. We offer full military cooperation between Singapore and Taiwan, and will commit Land, Air and Naval units in order to increase readiness among all our armed forces."

As Tsai Ing-Wen class ASW Frigate and Taiwan-class Guided Missile Destroyer are currently under development, upon completion of these two projects, Singapore Navy can produce them under license. For licensing these indigenous ASW frigate and Destroyer plus Pan-Shi class Fast Combat Support Ship, Singapore does not need to pay to Taiwan. We definitely agree with you."
