On behalf of the Kingdom of Singapore, I thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I am Yusuf bin Ahmad, Secretary of Foreign Affairs for our nation, and our King. As for the purpose of this letter, we are reaching out to your nation in hopes of establishing a dialogue with a fellow Asian country-- especially one that is essentially a neighbor to our own. We are willing to offer mutual trade, and the potential for a free-trade agreement, as our country's merchants and suppliers are hungry for the resources that other nations can offer. If that sound fine to you, my King wishes to let your government know that he is open for other talks as well, although that must be done in either person or through conversation with the King directly. Thank you for contacting us. First off, we'd like to congratulate King Vincent Wei for his ascension to the throne of the newly established Kingdom of Singapore. Long may he reign.

The Federal Republic of the Philippines acknowledges the importance of forging strong bilateral relationship with fellow Southeast Asian countries, notably Singapore. Being fellow founder of the defunct SEATO and ASEAN, both our country has common interest in economy, international politics, and defense. Hence, we are on the same page and tuned in the same frequency.

We actually planned to contact King Wei beforehand. However, President Rodrigo Duterte is still on his state visit tours while our Prime Minister Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is still pre-occupied with our ongoing midterm budget hearings/planning and parliament sessions. But rest assured that we will contact your King and your government as soon as possible.
