This email is being sent on behalf of the Korean Aerospace Research Institute, Korea's civil research and development program for the exploration of space and beyond. The Republic of Korea, through its desire to expand science and technology as part of its foreign and security policy seeks to collaborate with the Argentinian Government in the areas of science and technology. While this portion is the responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology of H.E. Minister Roh, as the aerospace institute for Korea our mandate specifically focuses on aerospace activities.

We hope to strengthen our professional working relationship with CONAE through memorandums and technical agreements. Primarily to share Weather information, geospatial information, and technological assistance to one another. We hope that through these agreements we can set the foundation for cooperation and for the use of Argentinian facilities for space launches. I hope that our cooperation can soon see Korea successfully launch its indigenous satellite systems, rockets, and much more.

We also hope that as Argentina champions the cause of South-South cooperation, KARI-CONAE cooperation can help assist other countries adventuring in the areas of aerospace. On this note, while many portions of our ongoing projects remain classified and confidential due to their relationship with our Ministry of National Defense and Intelligence agency, cooperation with civilian portions is of the utmost desire for the KARI. I hope that we can achieve those goals together in a way that is appropriate and suitable for CONAE and KARI.

Signed with sincerity,
Director Lim Cheol-ho

From: Dr. Magdalena Ruiz - Director of the CONAE
To: Director Lim Cheol-ho, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Republic of Korea

Director Lim,
Thank you for reaching out to the CONAE, we always welcome all exchange with international partners and players. The Republic of Korea and its Research & Development efforts are well know across the scientific community, and the opportunity for a direct cooperation in civilian projects between the Korean Aerospace Research Institute and our own CONAE is something that definitly interests us.

Currently we are in the finishing stages of our facilities and infrastructure development program, that will soon allow us to operate and launch a new wave of equipment and implement new technologies.

Considering the existing framework of cooperation between our countries, and the mutually beneficial opportunities that might arise from the KARI-CONAE partnership, I would personally like to invite Minister Roh and the Director of the KARI himself to Argentina, to visit the facilities and discuss in person how this potential collaboration may take shape.

I am excited to be able to move forward with the possibilities of cooperation between CONAE and KARI. I know together we can push the limits of science and technology forward. While at the moment our facilities are being renovated and upgraded to have modern systems and communications across a number of facilities in the north and south. We hope that in this time we can cooperate in testing our rocket systems and satellite. This would allow us to both advance our visions at a quicker pace as opposed to individual efforts.

While I understand from the email that you are in the finishing stages of the renovations and completion of facilities. I hope that, as one of the globe's leading space programs, you would be able to assist Korea in advancing its own. I would be happy to visit on a KARI-CONAE official visit alongside our team of researchers and experts. Alongside H.E. Minister Roh.

We hope that we can assist Argentina in production and planning of its own indigenous systems. Through technical data sharing, support from our scientists, and allowing former northern rocket engineers to assist your government. On that note, I hope that we can also co-operate facilities for specific tests for Korean systems for both military and civilian use.

I nonetheless look forward to touring the facilities and being how we can advance our relations.

Signed with sincerity,
Director Lim Cheol-ho
