This email is being sent on behalf of the Korean Aerospace Research Institute, Korea's civil research and development program for the exploration of space and beyond. The Republic of Korea, through its desire to expand science and technology as part of its foreign and security policy seeks to collaborate with the Argentinian Government in the areas of science and technology. While this portion is the responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology of H.E. Minister Roh, as the aerospace institute for Korea our mandate specifically focuses on aerospace activities.
We hope to strengthen our professional working relationship with CONAE through memorandums and technical agreements. Primarily to share Weather information, geospatial information, and technological assistance to one another. We hope that through these agreements we can set the foundation for cooperation and for the use of Argentinian facilities for space launches. I hope that our cooperation can soon see Korea successfully launch its indigenous satellite systems, rockets, and much more.
We also hope that as Argentina champions the cause of South-South cooperation, KARI-CONAE cooperation can help assist other countries adventuring in the areas of aerospace. On this note, while many portions of our ongoing projects remain classified and confidential due to their relationship with our Ministry of National Defense and Intelligence agency, cooperation with civilian portions is of the utmost desire for the KARI. I hope that we can achieve those goals together in a way that is appropriate and suitable for CONAE and KARI.
Signed with sincerity,
Director Lim Cheol-ho
Republic of Korea
