As the talks continued the doors would open subtly. A young Indian man wearing a suit would walk in and approach Minister Singh with a document in hand. He would lay it before the Minister and excuse himself from the room.

"Ah, very good. My aid just brought me the latest reports. The Port of Mumbai has finished it's restorations and our Sailors have just graduated and are on their way to man the ships in Mumbai. Sorry I digress, it is quite concerning for the former President's impeachment, although President Narayanan is quiet capable, in fact I find him more capable. I understand the concerns of the Korean government and people. I share those concerns. I wish to assure you however that the situation is becoming less intense by the day. Our Military is quite capable. As our talks have been going on, India is finding it's debts being reduced drastically. President Narayanan has put plans in motion to regain the stability of India, along with the rebound of our debt crisis, while also strengthening our security. I highly appreciate everything the Korea Government and People have done to help India in her time of need.

As for the recent attacks, I can without a doubt say that they are isolated to Mumbai. With Faheit taking over as Vice President, the situation seems to have put at ease... for now at least. Lt. General Cariappa is taking advantage of this cease in hostilities to strengthen Mumbai and ensure stability. As for a base in India that would be out of the question, as we do not allow foreign military bases on Indian soil. However I am willing to allow the Korean Military to access and utilize any existing Indian bases with proper registry and approval from the Installation Commander.

As for the situation in Bangladesh, I know our External Affairs has removed all embassy staff in Bangladesh. I have taken it upon myself to close the boarder, only Indian Civilians may enter through the boarder. I hope to reopen the boarder soon, but that is to be seen."

Director Moon listened to his Indian Counterpart as he explained the current situation and discussions. "Thank you Minister for the reports. However, as you know, with due respect, your reports have not been very accurate to say the least when it comes to the situation. Nevertheless, we continue to monitor the threat level as we assess the feasibility of our medical and humanitarian missions. We hope to continue our support and will continue our supply of medical assistance where needed. On a side note, President Kim has offered to bring those needing emergency treatment requiring advanced surgical assistance can be brought to Korea for treatment. Though things have been hectic with the reunification efforts, being able to help our fellow human beings in need is the least we can do.

On the aspects of financial policy, as these remain under the purview of your government on behest of the Indian People, we see promising signs in the recent recovery. Though, we would not characterize the current situation as being out of the water. Quite frankly Minister, Seoul is still worried about where things may end up. Fiscal responsibility is only one aspect of the crisis. Accountability for the massacres is something we hope will be done as well. State violence against innocent people is no more justifiable than non-state violence. Dealing with this threat is not merely the removal of the militancy component. It is also addressing the legitimate concerns that espoused that militancy. People do not pick up guns and fight in a vacuum. Whilst we should not legitimize opportunists who use this opportunity to inflict violence upon their countrymen, depriving them of the manpower to recruit from is a crucial task.

We would not want to open a base, but, have the operational ability and usage of facilities. We'd be under the guise of this Status of Force Agreement. Specifically pertaining to the deployment of Korean Troops and equipment. Unless a semi-permanent presence can be established, we will have to withdraw our medical mission completely until a level of stability is ensured. We would prefer to have the presence in the Mumbai Naval Base with extensions that would be beneficial to your armed forces as well. As for the Bangladesh Situation, our Government has thus far maintained vigilance and awaiting the results of the Bangladeshi Security Forces' interrogations. Luckily, our operators were able to apprehend the assailants alive. Hopefully, the situation will come to a calm." The Director finished turning off his microphone as the translator translated his remarks during the pauses in-between.
