Managing Diplomatic Proceedings

I feel like we need a better system to manage which diplomatic proceedings are active and which ones are finished. Perhaps in the same way we have an automatic invoice system we can have an automatic archive system for diplomatic proceedings, where we click a button and it will go to archive. Or at least implement a tag system where we can label diplomatic proceedings as either "OPEN" "CLOSED" "AWAITING REPLY" etc. I'm not over the technicalities of the forum and what is possible but was wondering what everyone else thought.

I agree, that could be a good thing to have. There is no guarantee that people will actually use the tag system, but it would be nice to have for threads that I have started at least.

I know for certain this has been considered in the past however I genuinely can't remember the technicalities of it. I do agree that some housekeeping would definitely be beneficial. We're all guilty of forgetting about diplomatic proceedings and they get buried in the barrage of threads in that section - an archive in some form would be nice.

We could certainly add prefixes, we did have them but we removed because no one really used them - that was the only reason really. We had them for ages.

To have a button to do it, it would need some fundraising doing... fortunately Connor has plenty in his wallet!

Prefixes would definitely be the simplest way to do it, I think.

This is probably too lofty of an idea, but could there be some OOC way of tracking threads that one needs to respond to? I would like to think that an OOC thread could be made for "Swedish Replies Needed" and anyone could edit it, and add in a thread that they need a response from Connor, for example?

It's possible that this would only really benefit Jamie and I, but maybe it would benefit others. I'm not sure. Just an idea.
