As a faithful catholic and the appointed sovereign over the Roman Empire, I would request, politely, that you grant me an Audience within the Holy See that we may discuss the future of our two nations. Namely, I would like to negotiate easements for travel, territorial boundaries, and the widening thereof, as well as establishing a certain amount of jurisdictional authority for your nation's defensive and law enforcement forces within the city of Rome and in the vicinity of any buildings or facilities within the charge or otherwise operated by the Vatican City.

Your Excellency,

Since my ascension to the Holy Throne of St. Peter, it has been my utmost desire to meet with those who've taken upon themselves to act as selfless heroes and save this ancient land from complete ruin, which was the result of Godlessness...simply Godlessness. It's with such worry to witness the destruction of the spirituality among the world's peoples, and it has been an ongoing accelerating trend, which needs to be countered with a policy that balances modernity and tradition together. The fact that fascism and communism arose within the layers of society and nearly destroyed the very societal fabric is the ultimate proof that the One True Church needs to regain its former role as a Moral Compass and Spiritual Guide. I do share the same belief that the Roman Empire and the Roman Catholic Church can achieve much of that and further beyon what could be possibly unimaginable at first, bringing me to this notion that I'm looking forward to be meeting with thee in person to discuss the various fields of cooperation our sovereign entities may take upon in a unison collectivity.

The Directorate of Security and Civil Protection Services has recently taken the initiative to contact our Norwegian counterpart, in order to facilitate a delivery of their reputable NASAMS systems in the form of 1 battery. A recent deal of purchasement has been made already and the production of the NASAMS is currently underway. As soon as it reaches Italian soil, it's expected to land on the most convenient airport available in Rome and thus would like to request assistance of delivering it to the Vatican City State. It's also highly advisable to contact the Norwegian Ministry of defence for coordination purposes.

The First Citizen of Rome would make way towards the Holy See, riding in the back seat of a nondescript Alfa Romeo 156. Driving him would be a single member of the Imperial Protection Commission, wearing a black dress uniform with a white cloak and carrying a single Beretta 92 chambered in .40 S&W.

Cardinal Angelo Sodano, Secretary to His Holiness The Pope, couldn't have felt nervous enough for the upcoming meeting between the First Citizen and the Holy Father, though he also felt confident that everything would go well as planned and this wasn't exactly like an entirely occurance, with previous Italian presidents paying a visit and such. Naturally the complimentary people of the press alongside their cameras were standing outside the inner courtyard of the Apostolic Palace, however they would've only been allowed to take pics and film some segments of both heads of states greeting one another, presenting gifts and other customs befitting them both. The talks between them would be held behind closed doors of course, and Pope Peter II already showed himself to be the peculiar type of Pontiff and his ambitions were well known.

"Your Excellency, welcome to the Apostolic Palace. His Holiness the Pope is quite eager to finally meet thee in person, and I believe there are a few matters worth discussing. If you could please follow me..." Sodano said, initially greeting and shaking hands with the First Citizen as he stepped out of his vehicle as the bodyguard opened the door. The press people followed suite along the hallway, with Swiss Guards standing on either side showcasing their famous discipline and steadfastness for remaining loyal to the Holy See for almost 500 years, guarding each and every Pope alongside tother servants of God for so long.
