From the: Nigerian Minister of State: Viola Adaku Onwuliri
To the: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Brazil

Greetings, I am excited to write to you today to discuss the important issues that both of our nations have the opportunity to work together on. As two nations on the Atlantic Ocean, we have a special opportunity and responsibility to ensure active and safe commerce across our ocean. Cooperating with our transatlantic neighbors is of vital importance to the Government of President Goodluck Jonathan and indeed important to all of Nigeria, it is with that in mind that I write to you to open up the dialogue between our two nations with the hope of achieving agreement on trade, cultural exchange, and military cooperation. These issues should certainly be discussed between our two nations as we look to progress into the 21st century.

On board his Embraer Lineage 1000, President checks the message from the Nigerian Minister of State, Viola Adaku Onwuliri.

Looking out at the cumulus clouds sipping a Johnny Walker Blue on the rocks and chomping on some Coxhina, the President calls for Foreign Minister Oscar DeSilva.

Speaking as well as chewing he asks, "Oscar. What do you make of this?"

"Hmm, Nigeria. They are up and coming, much like us. We have a bit more infrastructure in place. The part about guarding the Atlantic Ocean makes sense. Perhaps we can talk trade routes and offer to sell them some of our formidable naval assets. We need as many Atlantic Ocean nations willing to keep trade flowing.'

"Thank you, Oscar. Please make sure the email is encrypted. When it is, let's freshen up our drinks."

On an encrypted phone line on the Presidential Plane President recipes word the his emailed message will be encrypted.

To the: Nigerian Minister of State: Viola Adaku Onwuliri

I thank you for opening talks with my country. I must admit we were waiting to make sure your government had shown some stability before we would fully commit to talks.

I would like my Foreign Minister to visit Abuja at once. I believe we have much to discuss, both in security and financial terms. Please arrange a trip.

We are happy to recieve your reply and we are eager to begin relations with you. We would be most ecstatic to host your excellency at the Presidential Palace in Abuja. Abuja is the largest planned city in the world and we would be most honored to show it to you and your delegation.

Further we are certain that a full itinerary of issues can be discussed at such a summit, such as trans atlantic trade, joint naval exercises, cultural exchange, and treaties of friendship. We are able to recieve you at your earliest convenience.

To: President Johnathon Goodluck
From: Brazilian Presidet Victor Romero

It has been some time since we last spoke. The last time it was I believe talks entered on joint-naval operations with the Argentines, and the possibility of a joint naval port, just outside of Lagos, possibly Tarkway Bay. We had even spoken of the base our hosting our 2nd Nuclear powered Carrier fleet.

We also we come into possession of 100 JAS Gripen A multi-role fighters from Sweden, which wold bolster any anti-interdiction roles you may be forced into, you would in fact have the largest air force in Africa. These would come free of charge. It would give both of our air forces invaluable training time against real opponents.

But we can put the questions aside for the moment. We would like to know the political situation in Africa and how the connect you have had with the other nations of the world. We understand you have strong relations with Argentina, our main ally.

And, moreover, how is he political situation with your neighbours? If need be we could come and support you should any situation arise.

Signed

President Herrero

We would be more than happy to carry on joint naval operations discussions with both you and Argentina. Further we are willing to continue the discussion of a lease to the nation of Brazil for a Naval Station within the borders of Nigeria, this is an issue we are rather uneasy about however. We would be more than happy to take possession of 100 JAS Gripen A from Brazil. We will organize a guarded convoy to be dispatched to Brazil to Receive the said equipment.

As for Africa, it remains the dark continent. Most of our neighbors lack stable governments, though we have an arranged summit with the Government of South Africa that we hope may bear fruit. We continue to operate a strong diplomatic corp focused around free trade and the General Assembly and we have a strong relationship with Argentina indeed. We are currently in a large rearmament program and thus have spent little time worrying about our neighbors who lack stable governments.
