French Foreign Minister would check the room to make sure that no one is snooping in. He would place in two armed guard. Upon getting green signal from Directorate-General for External Security, the call is full encrypted and top secret.
"Good morning, Minister Le Drian," Jakob said. "I'm sorry about the current situation with Argentina - I think there should be a diplomatic solution before this gets out of hand. Norway will be deploying a fleet to the Caribbean very soon. I would like your government's permission for the Norwegian Royal Navy to enter French waters. His Majesty's government does not think that this war should spread to the Caribbean, so I would like for us to do what we can to protect the innocent peoples of the Caribbean. The Council of State has not determined exactly where our fleet will go yet, but we will set up a 'quarantine' somewhere in order to enforce neutrality around one or some of France's islands."
"Good Morning, Minister Vinter, I am sorry for earlier, that I could not attend. Yes, please that would be great if you can help us during this war scenario. I am hoping ISAF would help me out. Please feel free to send as you wish. We are currently planning out and we hope that we did not cause you that much problem."
"Thank you, Foreign Minister. Once our fleet is in place, I will send you an update. I wish you the best of luck. If you feel that you need assistance from the Kingdom of Norway, do not hesitate to ask. Please inform us if there is any attack on Mainland France in Europe. I'm sure you are busy, so I will let you go. Goodbye and good luck," he said before ending the call.
The French were privately and secretly told that a Norwegian C-5 would make flights from Norway to Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport. The Norwegian Royal Air Force requested that the French close the airport to all non-Norwegian traffic.
