At dark, red-light control room of the ARA Juan A. Martin several alarm lights would go up as the sensors would begin detecting the firing up of the norwegian fleet's fire control systems, followed only few minutes later by the launching of a very large amount of missiles, which would be detected to be fired eastward, clearly towards Serbian territory (given the recent events, there was no other target possible).

All the details and data would be recorded for evidence, including the breaching of the neutral airspace of Albania.

The Commander of the argentine frigate would immediatly order to be put in line (over an encrypted channel) with Alexandria, and in seconds he would be reporting the norwegian attack against Serbia.

The argentine frigate would then be ordered to tail the norwegian fleet at a safe distance, in secret and with all its systems on.

The Norwegian fleet would monitor the Argentine vessel as it trailed behind at a safe distance. An official report would be made of the Argentine vessel and its whereabouts, as well as what class it was and the known maneuvers its taken, as well as the previous conversation. Provided that the ship did not take any aggressive actions or get to close, the Norwegian fleet would maintain radio silence as they headed back to the aforementioned location.

The Radar System at Vranje, stationed high and with a 250km Detection range, would see the missiles soon after they launched. Immediately the 30 MiG-29s of Warwolf, Wardog, and Sol Squadron (The former two at Morava Airport and the latter at Batajnica Air Base) would be scrambled, carrying only their standard-issue 2x RVV-MDs and Autocannon bullets, with orders to intercept as many of the Cruise Missiles as possible. At the Same time, all 10 of the Air Force's MH-60G Pave Hawks in the 161st Special Operations Aviation Squadron, and all 10 of the Air Force's MH-60T Jayhawks (in the 1st Search and Rescue Support Squadron) would immediately be scrambled and ordered to land outside the civilian centers, in case any follow-up strikes were to be made. While the ERADS system was designed to take on ballistic missiles, not cruise missiles, the systems in Belgrade, Vranje, and at Batajnica Air Base would prepare to target in a last-second last-resort attempt to stop them. All non-essential ground personnel were ordered to evacuate their bases as quickly as possible.

However, as the Norwegians had neglected to put anybody whatsoever on the ground to give accurate coordinates and course adjustments to the cruise missiles once they were in the air, most of the cruise missiles would be off-course anyways, and as many of these air bases shared facilities with airports and were near civilian areas, this would mean that several civilian facilities, homes, businesses, and neighborhoods were about to be hit as well. Of course, the Serbians couldn't tell this merely by trajectories, but the missiles were definitely mostly targetting the wrong coordinates, and would definitely hit the wrong targets.

The Canadian Forces on the ground at Gjakova Airport would notice something odd. A roaring sound came over the sky, Special Forces would notice missiles flying right above heading towards Serbia. Immediately, everyone would panic thinking they might be targeted by Serbia's allies, such as Argentina. Soldiers, Special Forces and refugees being processed would immediately take cover. All the aircraft ferrying refugees out to Germany would be immediately grounded and those that were in the air would be asked to land in Montenegro or Croatia for safety as it was clear the airspace was getting a bit dangerous. The Department of National Defence would be alerted back in Ottawa. A message would be sent out to all the embassies except Serbia.

"START OF TRANSMISSION

Whichever nation is firing missiles over Kosovo, please take into consideration that Canadian Forces are operating in the west of the country. Proper protocol must be taken to ensure a mishap, such as accidentally downing a Canadian Forces aircraft, does not happen. Please proceed with caution. If whoever is doing this would like to make yourself known to the Department of National Defence so we can ensure the safety of Canadian Forces.

END OF TRANSMISSION"

There were a number of problems with the defense that the Serbians were trying to put up. Firstly, the radar system at Vranje is likely only equipped to track slow moving helicopters and nothing like the comparably tiny, incredibly fast thing that is a cruise missile. Furthermore, the military base at Vranje has never been occupied by the Serbian military, and the radar there - if there even is one - is not operated by the Serbian military. Therefor, it wouldn't be possible for this radar or Vranje army base to participate in this immediate defense of Serbia.

Next, while Serbia does own 3 ERADS systems, none of them have been specified as deployed at any of the Serbian airbases. Therefor, all three must be in the capital, Belgrade. ERADS have an intercept altitude of "20-500km" and are designed to take out ICBMs - the minimum height for interception of 20km is well beyond the standard operational height of any cruise missile.

It appears that Serbia's armed forces, or at least the Air Force, is not at the level of alert it would take to almost instantly deploy 30 Mig-29s, 10 Pave Hawks, and 10 Jay-Hawks. In fact, there currently is no reason to believe they were armed or even fueled, nor reason to believe that the pilots were awake or even dressed. The Norwegian cruise missiles were travelling at 1481.76km/hr, meaning that from the second of launch, Batajinica Airbase had 25 minutes and 54 seconds to impact, Military Airport Nis had 20 minutes and 23 seconds to impact, and Ladevci Airbase had 18 minutes and 43 seconds to impact. It would be notable, though, that Serbia may not have even had this warning since it appears they don't have the radar equipment necessary to track or identify low-flying cruise missiles.

While the Norwegian armed forces did not have anyone on the ground in Serbia or Kosovo, this wouldn't be necessary for the accuracy of their Hyunmoo-3C cruise missiles that had a range of 1,500km, an INS guidance system, and a GPS guidance system - not to mention they were known for being accurate within a 3 meter diameter. Also, as previously stated, the civilian terminals (in the case of all three airbases) were entirely separate compounds from the Air Force facilities that were targeted, and were not under threat from being hit by the cruise missiles.

It would appear to be very unlikely that the entire Serbian Air Force, or even a large minority, was awake at two in the morning, their aircraft were fueled, and the dozens of aircraft all managed to take off with approximately twenty minutes from intel gathered by complex radar instillations that Serbia neither owns nor operates.

The Norwegian fleet continued their quiet, yet quick, movement towards Marseille Naval Base in the aforementioned way and under the aforementioned conditions. Once there, they would refuel all vessels, including the Submarines. While at port in France, the Valkyries switched from the Dutch warship back to the Norwegian warships, and as well as the RAF pilots and helicopters who went back to their original ships. Once they were all refueled and ready to depart, the ships began their journey back to Norway. They were now under Normal conditions with guidelights on, and were no longer at general quarters. The fleet would sail close enough to The Netherlands that the Dutch ship would be able to break off and head to port without having to sail alone for too long.

The argentine frigate ARA Juan A. Martin would have been trailing the norwegian ships up until they entered french waters. Once there, it would stop and contact HQ to request new orders.

Considering that the serbian Government has fallen and that operations in Serbia seem to be over, the military command would decide that the operation had no reason to continue.

Valuable information on the norwegian navy was gathered and would be stored for potential future use. The ship would be ordered back to Alexandria, following the same way it came, on international and argentine waters.

All this would be done secretly.

After the ships refueling, the ships took the aforementioned route in the aforementioned way. By this point, they had passed the Straight of Gibraltar and were now out of the Mediterranean Sea. Soon, the Dutch and Norwegian troops would be back home and among their countrymen.

The Dutch ship Rotterdam was permitted to break off from the fleet once they were passing by The Netherlands. The Norwegian fleet continued home, docked in port, unloaded the sailors and special forces, and everyone was allowed to go back to shore leave or whatever duties they had. Vice Admiral Blix and Captain Magnus were summoned to Akershus Fortress to give a full report to Prince Ingvar and the Foreign Minister. Operation Angels was now officially concluded.
