Foreign Minister Jakob Vinter picked up his phone and made a secure call to the British Foreign Ministry from Akershus Fortress. He was in the war room with Prince Ingvar and the High Command. He waited for his counterpart to pick up the phone.

Prime Minister,

A fleet of Norwegian and Dutch ships is inbound to the Mediterranean. The fleet will be at Gibraltar in approximately 16 hours. A number of our ships will need to refuel, and our only viable option appears to be Gibraltar. I apologize for this being on such short notice, but this is a very secret and very sensitive military operation that is of the utmost importance. I urge you to write me back as soon as possible so that we know whether or not we have permission to refuel in Gibraltar. Even if it's brief, I would very much appreciate it.

If still a requirement, the British Government has privately confirmed unrestricted use of Gibraltar by the Norwegian Government. Confirming that if they'd still like a call, unless it was to discuss Gibraltar, it would be welcome.
