[Norway] Phone Calll to The Netherlands

Prince Ingvar, who was Minister of Defense, picked up his phone at Akershus Fortress and made a private call to Dutch Minister-President Jack Wald. Legend has it that the Minister-President has never answered a diplomatic call from Norway before and always has someone in lower rank than him do so.

With the Minister-President being busy meeting the President of the European Treaty Organisation in preparation for the signing ceremony the call would be forwarded to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Mark Rutte would be informed of the call and ensure that the line was encrypted and secured before answering, "Mark Rutte speaking."

"Hello Deputy Prime Minister. I was calling for the Minister-President, but I can talk to you for now," he said passive-aggressively. Ingvar removed a 100 krona bill from his pocket and slowly pushed it to Minister Vinter. "I'm not sure if you've heard, but our embassy in Kosovo has been destroyed, and our ambassador has been killed. We are organizing a rescue mission right now for the survivors and the Royal Navy will be deploying an armada tomorrow. We'll be using our special forces to get our civilians, however we don't have a carrier to deploy from. Grand Admiral Johansen told me that The Netherlands may have assets that could assist us?"

"I have just been updated on the situation in Kosovo, I am truly appalled to hear that your embassy has been attacked. You have the support of my government and all the Dutch people."

"While we don't possess a carrier the Royal Netherlands Navy could provide support with the HNLMS Karel Doorman or the HNLMS Rotterdam, both vessels have a carry capacity of six NH-90 helicopters. If there is need for critical care then the HNLMS Karel Doorman would be better suited for such an operation."

"The Grand Admiral tells me that the HNLMS Rotterdam would be more than enough. Before you entirely pledge when of your ships to our operation, though, I want to warn you that our fleet may retaliate after the rescue mission has concluded, before returning to Norway... I just want to keep you in the loop," he said. "We are still talking that over here."

"If I may ask, retaliate in what way?" Furthermore could I inquire into the Norwegian vessels which are to take part in the operation?"

"Tactical missile strikes on Serbian military targets - preferably the ones that destroyed our embassy," Ingvar replied simply. "The Royal Navy is still organizing the deployment, but I can confirm that all three of our destroyers - RMS Odin, RMS Thor, and RMS Frigg - will be part of the armada. I can share these details with you once they are finalized," he said.

Once the Grand Admiral had the deployments sorted out, he explained "Operation: Angels" with Ingvar, who securely sent it to the Dutch Deputy Prime Minister. All of the details of the operation were sent to him in a secure and encrypted way. The message made it clear that the Operation was classified: Top Secret, and that the fleet would arrive in about six hours. Also, it was specified that the Norwegian destroyers were carrying 5 MH-60G Pave Hawks and 30 Valkyrie special forces who would be transferred to the Dutch vessel at the rendezvous point. The fleet would be there in ~(6) hours.
