United States Ambassador’s residence north of Tel Aviv

The morning started off early for the Prime Minister who had been awake for his 5am start, his morning consisted of briefings by his advisers and meetings with various government officials, typical of any head of government. He had been contemplating an idea with the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the past few days and with the seal of approval from the Knesset (Israel's unicameral legislature) given, all he had to do was to put his plan into action. It was going to take some communication between the United States and Israel. It was going to be a lowkey meeting and he'd already drawn out his outfit of the day which consisted of smart black pants and a black polo shirt.

A small motorcade arrived at the Prime Ministerial Residence and he stepped into his awaiting car with his personal assistant and head of security whilst the six-car motorcade made its way to the United States Ambassador’s Residence to catch him before he made his way to the United States Embassy to begin his duties. During the journey, he flicked through social media whilst being briefed further on the happenings around the world which may affect Israel or her allies. His attention was soon drawn to the residence which was in a gated community as the driver of his vehicle flashed his credentials to the Diplomatic Security Service agents at the residence.

"I have the Prime Minister here to see Ambassador Goldstein, it's an impromptu visit - that's if he's still here or has he gone to work?" enquired the head of the Israeli security detail as he eyed up the United States security detail from behind his aviators. He knew that impromptu visits weren't ideal without prior arrangement but it was down to the Prime Minister who wanted to make the visit who kept his eyes fixated on the Israeli and United States details communicating, hoping that there was no problem.

The Diplomatic Security Service agents at the gate checked the credentials that were handed to them. One of them, a tall brunette with olive skin, looked at the driver for a few moments and the nodded. "Please wait here, sir."

She quietly spoke to her superior who picked up a phone in the booth and made a secure call to the inside of the residence. About a minute later she walked back out, "Thank you for waiting. The Ambassador is still here and would be happy to receive the Prime Minister, please pull forward to the front entrance."

Another DSS agent would be waiting at the entrance along with the head of household. The Prime Minister would be welcomed inside. While it was not preferred for his security to come in, they would be allowed inside as well if it was deemed necessary. Ambassador Goldstein quickly tied his navy blue and red regimental tie and waited in the main entrance of his home. The Ambassador's head of household walked in first, "The Prime Minister of Israel, sir."

The Prime Minister was led into the entry room.

"Prime Minister, this is a welcomed surprise. Can I offer you some tea?" the ambassador asked as he approached to shake the Prime Minister's hand.
