They form into four diamond formations spread roughly about 2 minutes flight time apart. They will patrol the northern half of sector GJ, roughly columns 1-10, rows 10-7.

The P-3 Orion reaches it desired operation altitude of 1500m and cruises at a speed of 600km/h. All avionics systems and radars are on and picking up data. All weapons systems are armed and carrying what was posted in Post#1. It flies about a two minute flight ahead of the squadrons of Xian Bombers. They will climb to an altitude of 3000m and cruise at a speed of 600km/h. All avionics systems and radars are on and picking up data. * Air Patrols will be for 12 hours. After twelve hours the planes will return to their bases for refueling and a quick maintenance. New aircrews will man the next rotation. In the hour that the planes are being refueled and maintenanced, four fighters from each base will take up the patrolling duties. They will also climb to a patrolling altitude of 1500m and patrol the sectors assigned to their base in a broken wing formation until radioed that they can return to base.

The 12 Gumdok's one by one set sail from their base. They will assemble at sea and sail in squads of four, sailing four abreast about 300 meters from one another. The first squadron will patrol the Northern sector of GJ, in international waters, sailing west to east. Squadron two will set sail from De Maraca base patrolling column five of sector GJ going north until until the reach the edges of Brazil's EEZ and then reverse and patrol back again. Squadron three will depart De Maraca Base and patrol along row four of Sector GJ. Once hitting Column 10 they will head due north patrolling along Column 10. Once they reach row 10 they will reverse back south and patrol they same strip of ocean. They will be sailing at a cruising speed of 18km/h.

0600 - 27/01/2014 - Belem Naval Base -, 12 Gumdoksuri-class patrol vessels will depart their base in Sector GI, all of which is inside Brazil's EEZ zone, no non CIS ships will be allowed to enter. In three squadrons of four, they will patrol sailing four abreast about 300 meters from one another. Given the small nature of the sector, the patrols will fan out about 5km apart and patrol northeast then southwest criss-crossing the sector. They will be sailing at a cruising speed of 18km/h.

0600 - 27/02/2014 - Pairnaba - Naval Base - One by one 3 Kilo class submarines leave their base in the early dawn, just a few out they sail into formation. They will sail about one kilometer apart. They will be sailing at surface depth, cruising at 18km/h. They will submerge only one confronted by any enemy ships. They will patrol right along the outer edges of Brazil's EEZ, from Pairnaba to to Belem, roughly 700km and then make their way back towards Pairnaba.

Kilo Class Submarines

* Using Snorkel to extend Range
* Fully fueled and charged
* Will sail at surface depth until need to submerge
* All sensors and sonar on
* Six 533 mm torpedo tubes armed with 18 53-65 ASuW

0600 - Belem Tactical Air Base - With all bases on full alert, all planes on the base have been fueled and armed. Pilots are at the ready. One P-C Orion, two Xian H 6 bombers and 12 F-16 Block 52's are lined up on the runaway and prepared for take off. They are led by the Orion which takes off, then the Xian's and then one by one the F-16's. They are charged with patrolling Brazil's EEZ as well as to dip into international air space in Sector GI all the way to HJ, roughly 700km, which they will then return back and re-patrol the sector again, this time west to east.

All weapons systems are armed, activated and carrying what was posted in Post#1.

The F-16's also climb to a patrolling altitude of 1500m in three broken wing formations about 100km apart. This will work to a defensive advantage as eventually one squadron of F-16's will be patrolling east to west, while others will be patrolling west to east, offering double detectability and leaving very little room for any planes or ships to avoid detection.

Top Secret And Encrypted
From The Office of the President of Brazil

From his office, the President that took part will read a speech to all of the units that took part in Operation Caribbean Sling.

Since cellphones are not allowed on bases, and the media will be made unaware of this impromptu speech, what the president is about to say will to his troops will be totally clarified.

On wide screens and projectors, across the Brazilian military establishment, a Video pops on suddenly, and there sitting in an informal chair, with obviously no notes prepared, the servicemen of the Brazilian see their President dressed in his old Army uniform, instead of his usual suit and tie.

"My fellow Brazilians, after three days of patrols, it is clear to the Brazilian Navy, Air Force and Governments officials, that our military capabilities obviously have kept any potential enemy threat nil. I congratulate you sailors still at sea listening to this speech. I applaud the members of the coast guard, still keeping watch over our seas in their coastal batteries, and I express my pure gratitude to those pilots defending our skies."

With that sentence, roars, cheers and clapping ring out throughout bases around Brazil.

Then suddenly, ship to and base to base, unknowingly to each, the Brazilian national begins to bellow out, all servicemen standing and saluting. When seeing this on his monitor, the President then stands and salutes as well, facing the Brazilian flag in office as the camera pans over to the flag in the office.

Once the anthems have died down. The President, then announces to the troops. "Sons and daughters of Brazil. This was just the opening salvo. But a shot that we did not fire alone.

During these missions we used equipment from our CIS brethren, Argentina and China. We have also benefitted from the support our Japanese, Nigerian, Thai and Irish allies.

This mission is complete, sons and daughters of Brazil. But it is the first of many. Once again, your nation thanks you for your service.'

Operation Caribbean Sling I: Complete

* With that, all ships and planes return to their bases. All crews are give one day off. All ships and vehicles during the operation will go through a thorough maintenance check. Any and all repairs will be made. Ships will be fully resupplied with provisions and full. Armament will also be checked and possible recalibrated for the next mission. On the ground an din the National Command Center in Brasilia, officers begin working on Phase II.
