Secret

The two aircraft were already prepped for take-off at Sittwe Airport in western Myanmar as the small convoy arrived with the 21 Tatmadaw officers.

Dressed in their uniforms and carrying their luggage, they were boarded on the Y-8 aircraft and within an hour, both aircraft took off and made their way towards Cairo. The transport aircraft, by itself, could not reach Cairo but it was planned for the Il-78 to refuel the aircraft somewhere around Oman to lunge it to its final destination.

The aircraft are to follow NK -> MK -> LK -> KL and would reach their destination in roughly 4 hours time.

Secret

The Shaanxi Y-8 transport aircraft maintained steady formation behind the Il-78 tanker at 28,000 feet. Captain Myo adjusted the controls minutely, keeping the probe extended from the Y-8's nose aligned with the drogue basket trailing from the aircraft's port wing.

As the connection locked, fuel began transferring at 400 gallons per minute, the Y-8s tanks slowly filling as both aircraft maintained their delicate positioning.

After twelve minutes of steady fuel flow, Captain Myo gently backed away from the drogue, the basket trailing safely clear as both aircraft resumed their headings.
