Few days before the first Grand Prix of the 1998 Season, the argentine Pampa Energia F1 team publicly presented its rebranded vehicle for the upcoming season, the PE1998, now sporting a golden yellow as its main color. The team has confirmed the same line up of drivers as in the previous season, with Esteban Tuero and Marcos Siebert looking forward to continue pushing their limits and fighting for many podiums and race wins. --- The presentation party was held at the Costa Salguero Convention Center in the City of Buenos Aires, where people and media gathered in an repurposed parking area with a build-in stage. Famous rock bands helped activating the crowd for the time of the final reveal. Team Manager Gaston Mazzacane together with top model Valeria Mazza entered the stage and briefly summed up the history of the argentine F1 team and this seasons goals and objectives. When everything was ready, lights went out, and suddently engines could be heard in the distance, roaring, getting nearer. Lights turned on and two golden F1 cars arrived and parked just in front of the stage, meters away from the crowd. The drivers, Tuero and Siebert, descended from the cars taking off their helmets and waving to the people, with a local band tuning accordingly. Both cars then where pulled up together with their drivers thanks to a small platform under them, to be showcase to all people present. 
After the presentation, drivers would approach the fans and sign autographs and take pictures with them. Later, a media conference with the team principal and the drivers was held. |
