A phone call would be made to the corporate office of McDonalds in the United States from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in India.

"Hello and good day my name is Minister Piyush Goyal. I am calling from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in India."

The CEO of McDonald's, Michael R. Quinlan, picked up the phone and answered. "Hello Minister Goyal. It's nice to speak with you, may I take your ord- I mean, how may I help you? Sorry, old habits die hard!" he said with a bit of a laugh.

He would give a brief chuckle.

"I am calling in an attempt to open your restaurant in India and with a menu that will suffice to the Indian population. We do not eat any form of beef in our country, that being said, we would like to substitute this with tofu and fish products. We can offer $400,000,000.00 for 160 restaurants to open in India. We will follow this with an additional $4,000,000,000.00 at the end of the year to have ownership of the restaurants in India. These terms are of course negotiable, however I believe that this offer is quite generous."
