Lieutenant-General Jerónimo Abreu, I am reaching out to your office in an effort to normalize diplomatic relations between our two nations. It is our hope that by our two nations working closely together we can foster an endearing friendship between ourselves that will help increase the security, health, and happiness of our two peoples. We are eager for the announcement of an election that will host the new civilian government and we urge your transitional government to continue its heading towards a free and democratic election. While the Dominican Republic is far outside our realm of influence, we cannot help but offer our assistance in this monumental transition for your people. By allowing us to open a consulate within Santo Domingo, we hope to facilitate this friendship by exploring avenues of cooperation in defense strategy, tourism, industrial development, and other areas that may be of assistance for a nation on the cusp of entering the world stage such as your own. We are eager in the possibility of allowing the Dominican Navy, Air Force, and Army access to key piece of the Polish arsenal that would not only allow your nation to defend itself but also allow it to protect its national interests abroad. Poland also has had a history of assisting developing nations modernize their communication infrastructure and bring it into the 21st century, much like we did with Vietnam several years ago. I look forward to working closely with you within Santo Domingo to further achieve this idea of friendship between our two people. |
Sincerely, Asia Dudek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kingdom of Poland |
