PROJECT INFORMATION	Argentine natural gas regulator Enargas has announced the construction of a 600mn USD, 12 million cubic meter-a-day (Mm3/d) pipeline to bring gas from the south of the country to meet demand further north. The pipeline would start operations in in the coming months, according to the CEO of the state owned company, who was speaking at the Argentina Energy Forum in Buenos Aires and suggested the so-called San Martín II line would run a similar route to gas transport company's existing San Martín line. Argentina's south has vast gas and oil deposits and reserves, that have been the focus of multiple public infrastructure projects of the current Cambiasso administration. In order to not only benefit the State's income by facilitating the export of this valued commodities and to also lower the price of the gas, widely used during the winter for heating in the north of the nation, Argentina is investing in this new pipeline to make the transportation easier and faster and so, lower the final price to the public.

As part of an investigation by the Swedish National Security Office into the current economic health of Argentina, the transfer details to Russia would be intercepted without detection by either the sender, the recipient or any other party. The details of which would be held securely in a centralised database within the SNSO whereby, in line with the Document Classification and Security Act 1997, the grading of 'TOP SECRET' would be appended. This was possible due to the lack of encryption level on the project thus making the information publicly accessible.

This investigation is into alleged fraudulent activity in respect to ongoing economic projects conducted by the Argentine executive which claims to see a projected $27.7billion dollar investment in the state; this, when compared to publicly available statistics, shows a projected $20billion dollar shortfall. Hence the investigation.
