PROJECT INFORMATIONUnder the Thailand-Australia Partnership on Food Security in the Red Meat and Cattle Sector, the Australian Government has agreed to fund various programs to be implemented in Thailand, up to the value of $60 million through to 2015, to improve food security in the country, these include:

- Thailand-Australia Commercial Cattle Breeding Program.
- Thailand-Australia Pastoral Industry Student Program.
- The Partnership's Internship Program.
- The Northern Territory Cattleman’s Association Skills Development Program.
- A skills development program proposed by the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

These programs will be delivered by both the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry as well as different private enterprises such as the Northern Territory Cattleman's Association. The allocation of the full $60 million in 2009 means the programs will be delivered ahead of their 2015 deadline.
