| PROJECT INFORMATION | Top Secret: The Ilha De Maraca Naval base will be completely refurbished. There will be enough dock space for the over 20 vessels including: 1 Command ship 1 Brazil Class Aircraft Carrier 3 Destroyers 3 Frigates 3 Cruisers 3 Submarines 5 Patrol Boats 2 Amphibious Tank Ships 1 Replenishment ship 1 Tanker 1 Condor Trimaran * The base will have dormitories for up to 2000 Marines and facilities such as mess halls and movie theaters. * The base will have a shooting range for the Marines. * A Mountain/Jungle Course will be constructed for Marines. * The base will have dormitories for up to 500 Naval Officers. * The base will have 200 4x2 stacked CLP's that will be able to accommodate up to 800 additional troops or visiting troops. * The base will have a 3500 meter runway with 50 hangars for fixed wing aircraft and helipads for 12 helicopters. * There will be a control tower. * There will be 3 radomes, plus an additional Argentinian product unknown to the public. * Built in foxholes and other fighting positions for 1000 Brazilian Marines. * Space for at least two SAM batteries (of four each), and two coastal battery systems. * Paved roads connecting each facility. 25 VBMT-LT on base for transportation. * Camp Hospital with 100 beds. Staffed by 1 military Platoon of 10. * One Lighthouse. * Two lookout towers. One at the north end of the camp. The second at the Southern edge of the camp. |
