PROJECT INFORMATION | The Presidential Palace will receive an upgrade. The perimeter will be reinforced with secure fencing, and new reinforced guard posts erected at the entrances/exits. Motion sensors will cover the grounds leading to the palace and high definition cameras. Inside, a new cabinet room will be created as well as an office for news reporters and press room. A press briefing room will allow the press secretary to provide regular updates to the press. The office will have a guard position at the exit and cctv to prevent press entering secure areas of the palace. A new Presidential office will be created, soundproofed to the outside. New encrypted and unencrypted phone lines will be installed. Each exterior window will be replaced with bulletproof glass. Concealed but reinforced cover positions will be created for sniper positions. A bowling lane and a revamped banquet hall will be installed as well as a small cinema. The state dining room will be revamped and new modernised office space created. A modernised commercial kitchen will be created to allow large state dinners to be held. A medical centre with consultation room, treatment room/theatre room will also be created for the Presidents medical staff. A dedicated helicopter pad will be created on the grounds outside. Underground, a 5000 square feet two story bunker will be created at basement and newly created -2 floor underneath the basement, hosting the situation room. This bunker will host a diner with kitchen facilities, staff canteen a conference room, various private offices, private booths, a intelligence monitoring room with computers for intelligence analysts and video conferencing technology. Secure phone lines will be installed to ensure all information is communicated securely. Further underground, a emergency bunker will be created. Deep enough to withstand a direct hit from a 20,000 ib bomb. It will be fitted with HVAC equipment to seal it from the outside air, recycling it's own air to contain it from possible chemical attacks. It will be equipped with its own power generator and water treatment plant. Space will include a kitchen, military planning and conference room with secure teleconferencing and a Presidential office. A private presidential bedroom and a separate large dorm style sleeping area will be installed. Television broadcasting facilities. It will feature a conference room with secure phone lines and a large storage room with refrigerator, freezer and supplies for 6 months. Access is gained via an elevator or emergency staircase. |
