PROJECT COST5,000,000,000.00
COMPLETION DATE05/10/2026
PROJECT INFORMATIONObjective:
The Polish Digital Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Hub aims to transform Poland into one of the most digitally advanced nations in Europe, ensuring that the Kingdom not only thrives in the digital economy but also maintains a robust defense against emerging cyber threats.

Scope of the Project:
This project will focus on improving Poland's digital infrastructure, expanding access to high-speed internet, and creating a cutting-edge cybersecurity defense system to protect Poland’s national security and economy.

Key Components of the Project:

National Digital Infrastructure Expansion:

Fiber-Optic Network Expansion:
Establish a nationwide fiber-optic network, ensuring that all rural and urban areas have access to high-speed internet. This will empower citizens and businesses, allowing them to participate in the digital economy and access modern services like telemedicine and e-learning.

Mobile Connectivity and 5G Rollout:
Ensure the nationwide rollout of a 5G mobile network, providing lightning-fast internet speeds, low latency, and enabling innovation in IoT devices, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation.

Smart Cities and IoT Integration:
Develop smart city projects, including intelligent traffic systems, smart public lighting, and energy-efficient infrastructure. These innovations will make urban areas more efficient, environmentally friendly, and comfortable for residents.

Cloud and Data Centers:
Develop cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and data centers across Poland, ensuring the storage and processing of data at high speed while maintaining security standards. These centers will also serve as business hubs, attracting tech startups and international companies.

Cybersecurity Infrastructure:

AI and Blockchain Technologies:
Invest in artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology to enhance the Kingdom’s cybersecurity defenses. AI will be used to detect and respond to threats in real-time, while blockchain will secure financial transactions and data integrity.

Cybersecurity Education and Workforce Development:
Launch national initiatives to train and develop a skilled cybersecurity workforce, from cybersecurity professionals to those working in sectors vulnerable to cyber threats. Scholarships and partnership programs with universities will help create a pipeline of skilled workers.

Digital Government Services:

E-Government Platforms:
Expand the digital transformation of government services, including e-voting, digital public services (taxes, permits, social welfare), and access to legal documentation. The e-government platform will make it easier for Polish citizens to interact with government institutions.

Digital Identity and Blockchain for Governance:
Introduce a digital identity system for citizens, allowing for secure access to public services online. Using blockchain technology, personal data will be stored and transmitted securely to protect against identity theft and data breaches.

Innovation and Technological Research:

National Innovation Centers:
Establish national research and innovation centers dedicated to emerging technologies such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain. These centers will collaborate with universities, the private sector, and international research institutions to drive innovation.

Start-Up and Tech Incubators:
Support the development of start-ups through government grants, venture capital initiatives, and incubators that focus on emerging technologies. The project will create an environment conducive to digital entrepreneurship.

Impact:

Economic Growth: By fostering a digital economy, this project will create thousands of jobs, particularly in tech sectors, and make Poland a hub for international tech businesses.

Security: Strengthens Poland’s defense against cyberattacks, ensuring that national security, business, and personal data are protected.

Global Positioning: Positions Poland as a leader in cybersecurity and digital infrastructure in Europe and beyond.

Citizens’ Quality of Life: Expands access to digital services, ensuring that every citizen can participate in the modern, digital economy.
