| PROJECT INFORMATION | In an effort to keep keep Poland's Armed Forces moving into the 21st century it was decided that a new Research Institute would be created to better preserve Poland's independence and solve its reliance on foreign equipment. The purpose of the Military Institute for Research and Implementation is to research and develop new technologies for the use by the Polish Armed Forces as well as a select few of her allies. Facilities: The Institute will make use of the abandoned Kluczewo Airfield that was abandoned by the Soviets in 1993 after their abandonment of Poland. Having been previously used for car shows by the neighboring town of Kluczewo during the interim period, the paper work shall be signed by Polish Defense Industries and marketed as a new factory for producing goods for the emerging Polish defense industry. Before construction will begin, site wide inspection will be undertaken to insure the grounds can be made to incorporate: 1x Administrative Building 1x Medical Clinic 1x CBRN Laboratory 1x Decontamination and Quarantine facility 1x Underground Storage for Petroleum, Oil, and Lubrication 1x Handling Facility for Petroleum, Oil, and Lubrication 1x 11,000ft Paved Runway 3x Helicopter Landing Pad 8x Temperature Controlled Hangars 1x Vehicle and Aircraft Manufacturing Plant 1x Air traffic Control Tower 1x Private Personnel Parking Lot 1x Private Drive leading from main road to Facility Security: As with all Polish Military Bases, the Research Institute will be protected at the minimum by a chain-link fence utilizing Constantine wire to prevent climbing over the fence. As a second level of perimeter defense, secure and covert Day/Night CCTV cameras will be placed throughout the perimeter to limit blind spots and will be prioritized on high security areas(Hangars, CBRN Lab, Manufacturing Plant, Admin Building, Underground Storage, and Handling Facility). The tertiary line of perimeter defense will involve roving guards along the perimeter and inside the compound. For the entrance road, a guard station will be built at the entrance of the perimeter fence utilizing computer system to verify employee badges before allowing anyone in. Secondary protection on the entrance road shall be a crash gate rated for a 15,000lb truck driving at 50mpg. The tertiary level of defense of the entrance road shall be armed guards. Internal security is handled primarily by a two door mantrap door design. Utilizing built in RFID chips in badges to gain access to the outer door and a keycard swipe to handle the inner door allows personnel to enter the buildings freely without utilizing manpower to verify identities. Inner doors utilize RFID chips to catalogue who enters what room and when in high security buildings. All buildings are equipped with burglary and fire alarms as well as automatic/manual fire suppression systems. As a final form of defense, secondary roads leading to the base shall be closed and destroyed, allowing local fauna to retake the manmade structures, limited civilian mobilization to the base. |
