| PROJECT INFORMATION | The Upper Kengtawng Hydropower Plant is located along the Nam Teng River in Shan State. It utilizes natural elevation and and reservoir control to generate stable hydroelectric power throughout the year. It will generate roughly 267GWh annually, powering 225,000 homes. It will enhance electricity access in north-eastern Myanmar. ~350 construction jobs will be created, with 60 permanent positions upon its completion. |
