| PROJECT INFORMATION | Project Lusitano is a Military Project for the development of a High Mobility Cargo truck for the use of the Portuguese Army. Development of the vehicle would start at Phase I, where designers would cooperate with one another to develop a HMCT appropriate for Portugal's relatively flat terrain and is able to traverse mountainous and hilly areas. The first prototype would be classified as "HMCT-95 Lusitano" and a working prototype would be developed and tested on the newly constructed Lince Military Research Facility. The Portuguese Military allots a full 3 months in it's development process.
