| PROJECT INFORMATION | The Projecto Essencial as a whole, focuses mainly on developing first 4 basic infrastructure services, i.e.: (i) Water supply, (ii) Electricity Supply, (iii)Sanitation, (iv)Internet Services. The first project under Projecto Essencial, happening to be "Projecto Essecial I". Which is for developing the given services in Brazil's Federal National, Brasilia. The city of Brasilia has a population of 3.379 million estimated. The Government of Brazil has decided to allot and execute proper terms under this project to boost Brasilia's well being first, followed by the next upcoming cities. The Government of Brazil aims and believes that to boost the economy, the people must first be happy with the Government, and this is one of the first steps towards it. The terms on how the project and government look forward in execution and hoping to boost economy would be: 1. WATER SUPPLY - (i) Build and upgrade new and existing pipelines and water systems to reach last-mile households. (ii) Deploy water purification and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) to recycle and purify water for non-drinking activities. (iii) Administer water conservation methods like Rainwater Harvesting, 2. ELECTRICITY ACCESS - (i) Expand National Grids and Hybrid Microgrids (ii) Replace old transformers and underground wiring in cities with modern and new ones like Optical Fiber cable and other such methods according to the budget. (iii) Expand solar power by construction of solar parks. (iv) Set up wind parks and farms will be set up in addition to the solar parks. 3. SANITATION - (i) The Ministry of Cities will be replenished and brought to uniformity. They will be handling all the municipalities of their requirements, etc. (ii) The municipalities will be handling each area/sector allotted to them and will be fully responsible for the sanitation, cleanliness and treatment of all pollution. (iii) Sewage Treatment Plants will be set up in places they are very much required. Existing ones will be upgraded for a bigger area of treatment 4. INTERNET SERVICES - (i) The Brazil Government has created a new organ, "Avencer" for the development of softwares and services officially for the Brazil Government and Brazil. It is however available internationally also. (ii) Avencer's first project being "Procer", an internet platform and search engine for Brazil alone. (iii) Avencer will also be setting up sim card networks for free for Brazilian citizens. (iv) The Government uses a classified highly secret platform and database network. (v) Avencer is a major responsibility under the Ministry of Communication. |
