| PROJECT INFORMATION | The Imperial Security Service of the Russian Empire is the principal security agency of Russia and the main successor of the Soviet Union's KGB. Its primary responsibilities are within the country itself and include: counter-intelligence, internal and border security, counter-terrorism, and surveillance as well as investigating certain crimes. It is headquartered in the main building of the former KGB. All law enforcement and intelligence agencies of Russia work under the guidance of the ISS if necessary. It's Director is hand-picked by the Monarch. The ISS would be housed within the Lubyanka building alongside the Border Guard Service, a KGB museum, and the Lubyanka Prison where the most high-profile prisoners of Russia are held. All Soviet symbols outside of the KGB museum on the building would be removed and imperial symbols would replace them. By law, the ISS is treated as a branch of the armed forces. |
