PROJECT INFORMATIONThe Korea Aerospace Research Institute will begin testing of the KARI KSR-3 Rockets for official testing. The goal of the rockets is to carry the Arirrang-2 Multipurpose Satellite. The project will cover the costs of eight Kari KSR-3 Carrier Rockets (15,375,000.00) and two Arirang-2 Satellite (234,800,171.03). The total cost for production of the ten items is $592,600,342.06.

KARI will conduct testing for the rockets with the Arirang-2 Satellite model completed and ready for launch. The KARI KSR-3 Rockets will be if successful the beginning stage of creation of a rocket dedicated and capable of carrying the Arirang-2. The KSR-3 is a liquid sounding rocket. The KSR-3 can reach an altitude of 42.7 km (26.5 mi) and flying over 84 km (52 mi)
