PROJECT INFORMATION | In order to defend the Republic of Spain coast, and its allies from possible incursions, invasions, anti-piracy, smuggling. Twenty-four AN/SPS-67 Naval Surface Radars with a range of 104 kilometres will be constructed in various key locations such as ports, lighthouses and costal hills to constantly survey the area around them, this radar is in service with the Spanish Navy on various frigates and vessels, they will always be manned by the Spanish Defence Command with at least 3 personnel guarding it. This would also serve to control Ship traffic into Spanish Ports. They will be constructed on top of steel pillars, in the shape of a tall triangle with a protective non intrusive dome to protect the Radar from the weather. Decision of where the Radar locations were to be was heavily researched and meticulously planned to ensure maximum operational capability and protection. All locations are highly top secret and all positions feed constantly directly to the closest Military Naval Base with no outside connection possible.
