PROJECT INFORMATION | TOP SECRET - D47 EYES ONLY Department of Defence Directorate 47 Brekka Station (Black Site) DESCRIPTION The Department of Defence has authorised, at the highest possible level, the construction of a second detention and interrogation black site in order to interrogate individuals, organisations and networks that are suspected of being responsible for, planning or capable of an act of terror within the Kingdom of Sweden or territory of her allies. This facility will be constructed purely to detain and interrogate enemy combatants. The status of these sites has long been in international disrepute given the ethical and legal complications of their existence; thus Brekka will be a covert facility, unidentifiable from the exterior. LOCATION Brattholmen Island, Norway 70.44423, 26.62334 FACILITIES From the exterior the site will appear to be nothing other than its civilian cover, a maritime technical research station named the Maritime Research and Environmental Monitoring Station of the Swedish Scientific Interests Taskforce which is a covert Directorate 47 operational front. Publicly the operations surround acoustic censor calibration and metrological data collection and will appear as such externally. This facility will be subterranean across four main levels: surface (administrative), level one (processing and detainee wing), level two (operations and control) and level three (special containment and research). Which includes: - Administrative Building (S) - Supply Depot (incl. fuels and lubricants) (S) - Marine Dock (S) - Landing Pad (S) - Cells (x6) (L1) - Sensory Deprivation (x2) (L1) - Decontamination Chambers (x2) (L1) - Medical Section (L1) - Surveillance Monitoring Core (L2) - Interrogation Labs (x2) (L2) - HUMINT Analysis (L2) - Communications Core (faraday cage) (L2) - Biological Laboratory (L3) - Containment Cell (L3) - Evidential Archives (L3) SECURITY The site will include advanced security features. Perimeter and external security will include triple-layered perimeter fencing topped with barbed wire which on a covert level will include seismic vibration sensors embedded in surrounding soil to detect unauthorised tunnelling, thermal and infrared imaging network with three hundred and sixty degree coverage with overlapping zones ensuring no blind spots, anti-drone countermeasures including RF jammers. Access control and internal security will include multifactor biometric authentication access gates which require fingerprint and pulse signature verification with a matching identification card, movement tracking throughout internal surveillance camera network, soundproofing and acoustic masking throughout the facility with noise cancellation technology to prevent acoustic leakage, faraday cage enclosures in key operational areas to shield against electromagnetic signals, automated emergency lockdown capability sealing doors and activation of non-lethal deterrent systems (strobes lighting, sound disorientation and water-vapour smoke screening) and deadman fail-safe protocols where any failure in communication with Directorate 47 Headquarters or unauthorised override detection will initiate local data wipes and containment lockdown procedures. Finally environmental and technical security will include seismic isolation foundations to prevent footprint against underground mapping, redundant heating, ventilation and air conditioning with filtration to prevent chemical or biological attack with real-time air quality monitoring, secure communications network and closed-loop water treatment with a sewage system routed through neutralisation chambers. LOGISTICS Access to the facility is via restricted VTOL only enabling discrete personnel transfer and asset exfiltration. Concealed water access for emergency evacuation via sea routes. The facility has an extensive backup power network with multi-fuel generators and battery banks to provide continuous power under total grid failure. Supply chains and materials are shipped under falsified research project manifests routed through secure D47 supply lines. |
