| PROJECT INFORMATION | NCSIST “Liuxian” AESA is a Taiwanese indigenous active electronically scanned array, is a type of phased array antenna, that is a computer-controlled array antenna in which the beam of radio waves can be electronically steered to point in different directions without moving the antenna. Developed by National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology or NCSIST for the Republic of China Air Force, the Liuxian aesa radar will be use into future stealth fighter and upgrading AIDC F-CK 1 C/D and various other fighter aircraft that Republic of China operates. It is a primary air to air aesa radar that will serve ROC Air Force and It has a maximum range of over 270 km on a 360° angle.
