PROJECT INFORMATION | The Digital and Creative Media Hub in Chiang Rai is a purpose-built facility designed to serve as a focal point for the digital and creative industries. The hub spans a 60-acre campus and is segmented into four primary zones: Film Production Studios, Animation and Visual Effects Labs, Software Development Centers, and a Shared Resources Area. The Film Production Studios are equipped with sound stages featuring adjustable acoustics, green screens, and high-definition camera systems. The studios also include post-production suites with advanced editing, color grading, and sound mixing equipment. A dedicated Foley studio is available for custom sound effects creation. The Animation and Visual Effects Labs are outfitted with high-performance workstations optimized for tasks like 3D modeling, rendering, and compositing. These labs are supported by a render farm with scalable computing power to expedite the rendering process. Specialized software for animation, visual effects, and motion capture is pre-installed on all workstations. The Software Development Centers focus on the creation and testing of software applications, including gaming, augmented reality, and virtual reality. These centers feature collaborative workspaces with agile project management tools and version control systems. A range of testing environments, including device farms for mobile application testing and VR headsets for immersive experiences, are available for comprehensive quality assurance. The Shared Resources Area provides auxiliary services that support all zones. This includes a digital asset management system for secure storage and retrieval of digital files, a color calibration lab to ensure visual consistency across different media, and a sound library with a wide range of pre-recorded sound effects and music tracks. Data management is integral to the hub's operation. A centralized data center with high-speed storage solutions and robust backup systems ensures data integrity and availability. Advanced analytics tools are employed for resource allocation, project tracking, and performance metrics. The hub also includes a Business Incubation Unit aimed at nurturing startups in the digital and creative sectors. This unit offers office spaces, mentorship programs, and seed funding opportunities to help startups scale their operations. From a human resources perspective, the hub employs a diverse team of professionals, including filmmakers, animators, software developers, and sound engineers. Continuous training programs are in place to keep the workforce abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. |
