PROJECT INFORMATION | The Royal Line will be an automated people mover line which will be built within Thailand's 5 most populous and largest cities to better the transit of its citizens and tourists. The people movers will traverse via elevated guide ways and street-level crossings that would span from each of the city's airports to their city centers and suburbs and outskirts with various train sports in-between. The street-level crossings would be built to assure safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians. Each of the lines would be automated and would have various mechanics hired to assure their continued maintenance. As they are automated, the lines would also work 24/7 and assure that transit is possible for anyone at any time. Various security cameras and emergency buttons would also be in place to assure safety of passengers. Lastly, all rides would be able to be remotely stopped in the case of emergency. Each of the Royal Lines would use various Bombardier Innovia APM 100 people movers which on average could hold a total of 105 people each and traverse at a maximum of 55km/h. While this may not be the quickest transit for city dwellers it would be advertised as the most easily accessible and among the cheapest ways of public transport (costing only 0.50USD per ticket). The people movers would also be equipped with 'smart glass' which would give the vehicle an ability to mist its glass when passing by apartments and other private buildings to assure that no one within the vehicle could peak inside. Extra costs has been put into the project to allow overtime pay for workers to work on the project as much as possible, alongside hiring other workers to not overwork anyone. Once the people movers are finished construction, a one month free travel period will be in effect to allow people to test out the new public transportation and get used to it. |
