PROJECT INFORMATION | House Joint Resolution 109-7 approved $5-billion for the purpose of improving and/or creating new museums for the public education of all Americans throughout the country from all corners of the nation. Museums from across the United States are encouraged to use funds that have been designated in this resolution for the purpose of furthering the education of all Americans, as museums exist for the purpose of furthering the education of all people who visit them. The funds in this resolution benefit museums in all 50 states and all territories of the United States which are only limited by when they apply for the funds. Also, new museums are given the option of applying for a maximum of $2.1-million of these funds to construct a building as their facility. This resolution is designed to improve museums around the United States and encourage the creation of new museums for the benefit of the American people. |
