PROJECT INFORMATION | The William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum will be located in Little Rock, Arkansas on the Arkansas river at: 1200 President Clinton Avenue. It will include: a main five-story building boasting 20,000 square feet of space, the Archives, the Clinton Presidential Park, a restored Choctaw Station, the restoration of the Rock Island Railroad Bridge (to be renamed the "Clinton Park Bridge"), and a gift shop. The purpose of the project is to educate the public on the history and the legacy of the Clinton Administration and also to preserve documents and artifacts from the Clinton Family and the Clinton Presidential Administration. The complex will include modern security standards for entry as well as armed officers at the entry to ensure public safety. The project is largely funded by private donors, but will be managed by the National Archives and Records Administration. |
