The People's Republic of Pretoria
Encrypted and Private
Foreign Affairs Office

Addressed to whomever it may concern, from the desk of President Marcus Maxim

Greetings from South Africa. Consider this a formal first greeting from the newly formed People's Republic of Pretoria, and an offer of friendship. We consider ourselves a rising power in this world, and with that responsibility it is my, and our duty to create diplomatic ties with foreign powers.
I write to you today with hopes of forming a stable friendship between our two governments, and I would also like to establish the basis for a trade deal that can only strengthen the two economies of our countries. South Africa is a major exporter of Precious Materials and Gems, as well as many other top quality goods that we would like to trade with Nigeria. In return we would also like goods of your own. The bartering and exchange of these goods will only bring profit, and will certainly create friendliness between us.
Below are my private phone number, skype details and email, which I implore you to use to contact me in the future. I am looking forward to great diplomatic progress and unity between us.

Yours Sincerely,
President Marcus Maxim, of the People's Republic of Pretoria.

Greetings, Nigeria is of course happy to hear that South Africa wishes for a peaceful coexistence with her neighbors on the continent and the world at large. Nigeria is of course interested in advancing trade relations between our two nations. We are also interested in hearing of the current political situation in South Africa, previously under the National Party, our journalists and others had been banned from the country. We are interested and hoping that free travel and information may flow between our two African nations. It is indeed vital that contact be maintained between our two people on the African continent if we are to ensure stability and prosperity. Please do not hesitate to ask for anything should you need it. We are hopeful for a working relationship with your nation that ensures peace on our continent.

Free travel, media coverage and information is welcome between South Africa and Nigeria. A new party, a new country. We have no intention to have hostile relations with nations like Nigeria. I am indeed glad that you also wish a peaceful co-existence. The first step is to set up a profitable and friendly trade deal.

We are most happy to hear this news and we look forward to opening trade with you. The list of five Nigerian Exports can be found in the Commerce Section under the official trade register. We would be more than happy to negotiate a trade deal between our two nations and we would be more than to use our ships to operate the line. The Nigerian Independent Trade Federation Operates one of the largest trade fleets in the world.

Further we would be interested in securing 3,000 Mfezi Ambulances from South Africa. We would require however that they are built in batches of 500 with a space of two days in between to ensure their rapid completion. We would pay extra for such a request. We would also potentially be interested in further heavy equipment deals with your nation should such an idea satisfy you.

We are very glad you have chosen to take up the maintenance on this trade line, and in return, we would be more than happy to build these vehicles for you.

We unfortunately cannot begin the trade line until South Africa registers its trade within the zone of international commerce. As soon as this is done, trade will begin in earnest between our two great African nations.

Further we were curious about the cost of purchasing the domestic production rights to the Mfezi Ambulance. We believe that domestic production will be best for the local economy and our own armed forces and are very interested in acquiring the rights of production. We believe this will greatly strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and South Africa.

We are assuming that, as you wish to buy the domestic production rights, you would not like us to produce the vehicles for you?

We are not aware that production on such a large batch of vehicles had begun, and further we would not expect South Africa to provide and produce 3,000 vehicles on our behalf. We are more than willing to purchase the Domestic Production Rights of these vehicles, further we are interested in purchasing the domestic production rights for the following equipment:

Denel G5 155mm Towed Howitzer
Vulture UAV
Denel Dynamics Seeker
G6 Howitzer "Rhino"
GV6 Renoster Howtizer
GV5 Luiperd
Denel Rooivalk

We are of course willing to negotiate a yearly agreement for such production rights that would include the rights to build replacement and refurbishment parts as necessary of course. We believe that such agreements will help ensure peace on the African continent.

What would be your total offer for all of these products?

All we need is your signature and we will transfer the funds immediately and this agreement may begin the official relations between our two great people. We hope that we may continue to cooperate in issues of both domestic and international importance.

The document with a signature would be faxed back through, marking the beginning of the deal for both countries.

"We thank you very much for the beginning of this deal"
