To His Excellency Adriaan Marissens​ I would like to firstly, extend my congratulations on winning the elections, hopefully Belgium will have a lot to gain from your leadership. Secondly we would like to open formal relations with Belgium, being neighbouring countries, it seems only logical and natural that we should strive for a strong relationship. This is why I would like to formally have your ambassador meet our Foreign Minister to create the foundation of such relationship. Would it be possible to start this meeting today? Further more, Prussia is looking for more partners in Europe in order to create more Military Cooperation, a United Europe is a strong europe! I would like to share the idea of one of the Prussian Royal Ships to visit a Belgian Port and open it self for visitors and cultural exchanges, likewise a Belgian ship could also do the same in a Prussian Port. And possibly a future military exercise could be sprung up so that our nations are more closely united. Dear Chancellor, I received your email this morning as I was preparing to go to Mass with my wife and two childhood so I wasn't able to reply in a timely fashion do please forgive me. Anyway, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to contact me in person at this point in time. Furthermore allow me to express my appreciation for those words of encourage with respect to January's electoral victory.


Belgium is more than happy to establish diplomatic relations with The Kingdom of Prussia and cultivate in it's midst an air of cooperation and fraternity which may in the long prove to be mutually beneficial in character. On a final note, we are open to conducting a cultural exchange along with a state visit but alas these things shall have to wait until we receive confirmation on the recognition of our neutrality.
