To: President Isabella Cattaneo, Head of State, Communist Italy Miasia
From: Luís Amado, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Portuguese Republic
Dear President Cattaneo,The Portuguese Republic wishes to strengthen its bilateral relations with Italy through the establishment of a Free Trade Agreement, aimed at simplifying access to goods and services between our nations. We believe such a framework will foster economic growth, enhance market opportunities for our industries, and build a foundation for lasting cooperation. Additionally, we would like to propose discussions regarding a joint cooperation treaty in the Mediterranean region. This could include coordinated maritime security operations, joint research initiatives, and exchanges in sectors of mutual strategic interest. Portugal is confident that closer collaboration in these areas will enhance stability and prosperity throughout the Mediterranean.
We are eager to hear your thoughts on these proposals and would be pleased to engage in further dialogue to outline the details and potential implementation of these agreements.
Warm regards,
Luís Amado
Minister of Foreign Affairs
