Airbus A380 produced as Code One, Presidential Transport for the President of the Republic of Korea. Taken from Korean Air (Operator) the Aircraft will have a full-scale renovation completed including decoration of the exterior. Extensive customizing the interior will be included for a sleeping area and office, as well as reinforcement to protect the president's security. A vast array of security measures have been installed. Code One is equipped with advanced communications and defense systems including radar-signal jammers and flares to deflect against heat seeking missiles. Code One is equipped with in-air refueling capabilities to allow for extended range and continual in-air capabilities. The onboard electronics are hardened to protect against an electromagnetic pulse. Included are other measures for defense.The aircraft is reconfigured with an office and a bedroom among other amenities. Code One can act as command post, for the President to lead the country from anywhere in the world. Capabilities onboard allow for the President to fulfill their duties as the Commander in Chief and supreme authority of the armed forces. Code One will be built completely in Korea and be done with secrecy and under national security laws protected from divulgence in parts used, capabilities, and quantities. |
