| Product Information | Produced as operator (Unification) given permission to produce North Korean items/operated items. Producing the MiG-29SMT Variant of the MiG-29. The ROK Air Force's MIG-29SMT will be fitted with upgraded NATO compatible systems. The NATO compatibility upgrade covers communication, navigation, and IFF (identification friend-or-foe) equipment plus a cockpit improvement to reduce pilot workload and improve efficiency. The ROKAF MIG-29SMT are fitted with the modern AN/APX-113 combined IFF interrogator/ transponder system, AN/ARC-210 radio, AN/ARN/1472 VOR/ILS receiver, and AN/ARN/153 digital TACAN receiver. |
