Dear Ms. Bolukbasi, Qantas would like to enquire about opening two new routes from Australia to Turkey; Sydney to Istanbul and Melbourne to Istanbul and to operate daily flights on our Boeing 787-9 fleet. We believe this would be an excellent boost for the Turkish economy and would allow Qantas to tap into a growing market for tourism in Turkey and for Turkish tourists looking to go to Australia and will allow direct competition with newly announced Turkish Airlines flights on those routes.
