The F-16s were prepped with full crew complements and prepared for interception missions against any incoming bogeys. The F-16s were fully fueled for quick deployment and burn towards incoming bogeys/bandits. France, Germany, Turkey, Norway, and the ISAF States were all informed of the possibility of Italian F-16s taking off at a moment's warning to avoid any startling actions towards them. Should an Alert go Through, All 100 F-16s assigned this QRA would take off and immediately climb to Angels Flight Level 400 to find and intercept the target.

Any Flights heading to or from Brazil or Argentina would be marked as hostile and intercepted. Civilian flights would be forced to land at the Nearest Airport.

The fact that the Italian Air Force's Air Defense Corps was placing itself on Alert would be public, though NONE of the information in the Operational Document would be public (including the deployment list, loadouts, maps, and so on).

Argentina and Brazil would be informed of the fact that their air forces and civilian carriers were no longer welcome in Italian Airspace.

After a privately-held debate on the matter, the German Armed Forces High Command agreed that the Italians, if needed, could utilize German airspace; General des Luftwaffen Karl Müllner, the Inspector General for the Luftwaffe, sent a private and encrypted message on behalf of Oberkommando des Streitkräfte. The message was brief, but it entailed a simple allowance of Italian F-16s to utilize German airfields under the condition that their use was to be a defensive one, and that such privilege could be taken away at any time should the Reichsmarschall demand it.

Dear sir,

The Ottoman Sultanate wishes to make it clear that we are confused as to why you have informed us of the possibility of Italian military aircraft taking off suddenly. As far as we are concerned, if your actions do not meddle with Ottoman airspace, you are free to do as you wish regarding your own airspace. However, we would like to make it abundantly clear that Italian military aircraft are not permitted to violate Ottoman airspace. We do not believe that this will be an issue for you, since our respective nations are many miles apart, however it is always prudent to ensure you are aware of this.

Best wishes,
Kanat Ozbek, Vizier For Foreign Affairs
