All assigned units would prepare their equipment and pack their bags the night before departing from their home bases around the national territory.

Early in the morning, several buses from the Republic of Chinese Army Logistics Command would pick these Marines and Naval Special Operatives up at their locations. The personnel of the 1st Special Service Battalion, Marines Amphibious Reconnaissance and Patrol Unit and 7th Special Service Battalion, Naval Special Warfare Group would be picked up at their nearest airfield by aircraft belonging to the 1st Transport Flight from Pingtung South Airbase (2x C-130H Hercules) and brought to the area of the training.

Once all participants would be settled down at the barracks of the Republic of China Military Academy in Fengshan District, Kaohsiung they would be divided into several groups.

They would firstly go to theoretical instruction where they would learn about different jumping, directions and landing techniques as well as learning how a parachute works.

After the first lessons were completed, the different groups would continue their theoretical training with the studying of the different parachute systems and basic meteorology classes.

During this whole time, they would also be carrying out physical training and exams. Learned about Static Line Jumping and Military Free Fall (Jump from 10,000 Feet)

On the last part of this stage of the course, they would begin practicing the different body positions with instructors and doing practice landings from the Lateral Drift Assembly.

Finally, then they would move on to see the different airplanes on which they could operate while serving in the Republic of China Air Force: 2x C-130 H Hercules. They would visit some of them in the airfield and familiarize themselves with the interior and procedure for jumping.

The groups would continue their arduous training and finally pass to a more practical-orientated stage of the course.

Having already mastered the theory and techniques of parachuting (jumping, maneuvering and landing) they would now focus on jumping from practice towers.

There would be different highs, and the trainees would progressively go from the lower towards the more higher ones.

They would also make excursions to the area as to see, together with their instructors, different terrain types commonly found in the Dulan Forest, Taitung County, big flat terrains, such as pastures, marshes, low vegetation forests and beaches and learn the best landing techniques for each to lessen the chances of accidents and injuries.

They would also begin using the 3 vertical winds tunnels from the skydiving school.

The date of their first real jumps from the aircraft was nearing.

After completing the established sets of jumps from the different towers, the separated groups would move on their first real jumps.

They would be formed in groups and first beginning to perform relatively low altitude jumps in tandem with instructors. This first part would be performed from the assigned C-130H Hercules of the ROCAF Air Force. They would do at least 2 jumps (Static line Jumps) each, with this methodology.

Once on the ground a vehicle would pick them up and drive them back to the landing strip, where the aircraft would be awaiting them.

Once all trainees would have completed this section, they would move on to perform a third jump (from 10,000 feet), alone now, but each of these participants are equipped with Night Vision Mounted Helmet, & Bulletproof vests, armed with T91 Assault Rifles and T75 Pistols at night.

During all the training the personnel would be resting, exercising and eating well.

They would do at least 10 jumps with Free-Fall jump (Which later on open parachute after jump) each, with this methodology.

Once these soldiers on the ground with safe; a vehicle would pick them up and drive them back to the landing strip, where the aircraft would be awaiting them.

Once all trainees would have completed this section, they would move on to perform a third jump (from 35,000 feet), alone now, but each of these participants are equipped with Night Vision Mounted Helmet, & Bulletproof vests, armed with T91 Assault Rifles and T75 Pistols at night.

Finally, the last stage of the Paratrooper Course arrived. This consisted of carrying out from the biggest aircraft in the current Taiwanese inventory destined for paratroopers: the C-130 H. These 2x C-130 H would fly multiple times to carry the soldiers.

The trainees would perform 3 jumps each from the mentioned aircraft. 2 during daytime and the remaining one during the night. All would be done in the usual training grounds around the town of Dulan Forest, Taiwan, resulting in a complete mastering of landing in flat terrain, including fields, swamps and low vegetation areas.

Once all soldiers would have completed their scheduled 3 jumps, they would head back to the barracks where they would rest and eat.

They would have completed 5 jumps each, during day and night time, all over flat terrain (including fields, swamps and low vegetation areas)
