"Moving on I would like to discus trade if you have a moment. We would like to import quite a few things from the Republic of Ireland. We would like to expand part of our available healthcare pharmaceutical sector. The excellent pharmaceuticals offered by your companies will fill in the gaps in our current coverage nicely. We would like to import these weekly. We also lack a reliable source of natural gas. We would like to buy from Europe when if at all possible. We would like to import this weekly if current reserves allow. Lastly our markets have a demand for the fine meats of Ireland. We would like to also import these food stuff weekly."

"We also offer various fine products for export. Our short list is Motor Vehicles ($4,000,000), Machinery ($3,500,000), Computer and Electronic Products ($3,000,000), Pharmaceuticals ($2,000,000), Medical Instruments ($2,000,000). Our merchant fleet has recently been finished and is ready to serve Ireland if so needed."

"We would be more than happy to export Pharmaceuticals, Natural Gas, and Meats from Ireland. We can set this up weekly, the goods will be shipped from the Port of Cork. In return we would like Motor Vehicles as the Germans make some of the best Vehicles around the world, as well we would also like Computer and Electronic Products. A mutual exchange with no Tariffs would make it cheaper on the Germans, however if you still want the Tariffs we understand. Which port would we be shipping to?"

"We would be delighted with a mutual exchange. I assume one each? I can have my vessels bring the shipments from the port of Hamburg and load up with your exports on the way back home. Would you like to select one more item to import so that its an even three three spilt? I will get started on the legal international paperwork and route selection as soon you give us the green light."

"I personally would also like to congratulate your new president Seán Barrett on his historic election victory. I met him once years ago at a conference and he is a fine man. I look forward to working with him in the future."

"We also would like to offer our help in any of the matters dealing with the issues of the IRA in your country. We don't wish to pry into the private matters of other nations but should you ever need anything all you need do is ask."

"If we could, German Medical Instruments could prove beneficial as well as the previous resources stated.

I will be sure to let President Barrett know that you have congratulated him, I am sure he will be in close contact with your dignitaries.

We appreciate the support from Germany, however I believe that with the United Kingdoms help we can be rid of these terrorist."

"Excellent. I will have the paper work drawn up at once and have it sent to the International Maritime Authorities. I hope this leads to a greater connection between our two nations."

"Speaking of a greater connection, We have recently joined the Nordic Council in an observer capacity. We have had an amazing experience working with the nations belonging to the council. With the dissolution of NATO, we feel that this might turn into a more Euro-Centric replacement alliance. In an Observer role we can see if the alliance its a perfect fit for Germany. Has the Republic of Ireland had any dealings with the Nordic council? How do you feel about Europe being brought much closer together through something like an alliance? Is this a bad idea?" Should the nations of Europe need to be more independent of one another?"

"I would also like to ask your thoughts on Russia and Eastern Europe as a whole. We have had great interactions with the nations of Poland and Ukraine. They seem to be extremely friendly and open to trade. We are currently working on a railway system that will help link out respective industries to help better facilitate trade. But Russia seems the odd one out. Our two nations have a long and storied history. I'm afraid the wounds of past wars might not be completely healed. Have you had any dealings with Russia? Do you think they might be open to more serious talks with the west regarding trade and immigration?"

"Just to confirm, maybe a lost in translation, I do apologies. But is Germany supplying the ships for the trade route? If so we very much appreciate the kind gesture. Again the Port of Cork is where you can pick up the shipments of Irish Goods."

"I haven't looked to much into the Nordic Council, although it does sound promising. Ireland has had an idea for a unified Europe for some time. I will have to do more research into this matter and get back to you on an answer. Ireland may have armed up our military rather quickly and it became alarming to some, but I assure you it was for peaceful means."

"As for Russia, Ireland is quite close with them. We have Russian troops stationed at Haulbowline Naval Base near Cork. We have been seeking peaceful relations with Russia and the Eastern European Countries. As far as I am aware we are on good terms with all with the exception of Romania. They have recently been stirring up trouble in their embassy in Dublin. I feel like Russia is definitely a leading country to those in Eastern Europe. They are definitely open to serious talks with any nation that is willing to be serious with them. Russia has been nothing but friendly with Ireland."

"Yes. We will supply the ships for both the importing and exporting of the trade routes. They should be set to start next week. If you require any additional items, we have ships available and are ready to serve you."

"I will pass your interest for more information on to Nordic council so someone more senior on the council can contact you with any information you might need. But even your interest is very promising for Europe as a while. We do think that one day Europe will be united together in brotherhood ushering in an era of peace and economic prosperity."

"We are also hearing some troubling things coming out of Romania. It seems that they are refusing to acknowledge the legitimacy of the Moldavian government. They are making public statements about Moldova needing to be returned to Romania. This type of language reeks of someone who intends on invasion. The democracies of the world might be forced to act. Would your government support a GA resolution that impose sanctions should they be found threatening the sovereignty of Moldova? Might I ask about the trouble they stirred up regarding their embassy in Dublin? We spoke about Russia earlier. I know that they used to have some sway in that region although that was long ago. Do they have any more information on the Romanian government or their intentions?"

"You mentioned your new military acquisitions. We are in a similar place. I wondered if you might be interested in some military exercises? We think that our newer mechanized infantry battalions could use more advanced training. Working together we feel could possibly bring out the best in both of our forces. If so would you have any suggestions on where we might hold them?

"That is very kind of you and your country, thank you for supplying the shipping vessels."

"Yes please do pass on that we are interested. At the very least we would like some more information on the Nordic Council. If it as you say, this could benefit Europe quite a bit."

"Romania is a.... troubling situation. They are not only refusing to acknowledge the Moldavian Government's legitimacy but that of almost any nation that communicates with them. I feel that if Moldova wished to rejoin with Romania then they would have done so already. The fact that they haven't proves their legitimacy as a nation. I hope that Romania does back off Moldova, however I foresee conflict. I believe that the GA may need to intervene. I believe that the Republic of Ireland would support sanctions against Romania if an invasion does take place. There have been discussions in the Irish government about this very situation. As far as Dublin, we requested to know what type of weapons were brought into their embassy. Somehow they were able to sneak MP5ks (Full Auto) into our country. Our Customs went under investigation for this. When they confirmed the weapons to be of Full-Auto capability, which is highly illegal in Ireland, we informed them that a Customs agent would stop by the embassy to inspect and possibly confiscate the weapons. They then told us that they would not allow our Customs Agent into the embassy. At that point our Police where on standby to remove the Romanian Ambassador from Ireland. Lucky for us, they turned their weapons in, not that they wanted to though. We sent their weapons back to Romania in a diplomatic package as a sign of good will. They now have the same guns in their embassy, but that of a Semi-Auto capability. As far as Russia goes, they do have a lot of influence in the region, however this current regime that Romania has doesn't appear to acknowledge anything from anyone."

"Ireland is always looking for military partners to conduct exercises with. As of right now, with Russia now in Ireland, we plan to have a Naval/Land Exercise in the near future. We also sent 5 advisors from the Naval Service to Fiji to train their Navy. I feel training with Germany would be a great way to bring our nations closer and build a stronger partnership. If I may, I would suggest we do the training at Hohenfels, Germany if that is still an operating Military Training Site. I have hear that it provided great training for troops in the past and has a wide variety of landscapes to train on. Ireland has a bit of internal trouble at the moment, nothing that can't be managed, however to ensure 100% safety for your troops I suggest that the exercise be held in Germany until this trouble is dealt with in Ireland"

"We have placed a Internal Arms Embargo on Romania from exports from our State owned GDE until the situation is resolved. We have has some contact with the Romanian Government. They do plan on quote " Intend to only quash armed resistance before placing a commander in charge of Moldova." At least they were honest. Something will have to be done. We are toying with the idea of petitioning the GA for a greater arms embargo to keep them from acquiring more advanced hardware. This guy seems a petty dictator with some powerful military hardware. Take his toys away and I assume he will stop his marauding."

"The Combat Maneuver Training Center Hohenfels, Bavaria is the perfect location for some Winter Joint Combat Exercises. I was thinking around the December or January when the weather starts to get much colder. How does that sound? I'm open to suggestions of troop amounts and equipment types for the exercise."

"I agree with the Romania situation, Ireland is also contemplating an internal embargo as well. However politicians have to much red tape here to make anything happen right now. All the government can do is publicly denounce the Romanian state."

"If we could push the training back to the 2nd week in February, then we could send our special forces as well. It'd give them some much needed practice as they are all newly trained recruits. As for numbers I was thinking maybe a Brigade size element, and possibly in the future we can increase those numbers for further exercises."

"Pushing back the date also would allow for our Special forces units to finish basic training and join the exercise. I also think a brigade level exercise would be the best use of the Combat Maneuver Training Center. Pushing it back to February is almost assuredly going to make this a winter themed exercise which adds, I think, a nice extra added level of complexity. I also wanted to float the idea of simulating a biological attack to measure the responses of our personnel. With terrorism on the rise, now more than ever we need to make sure our armed forces are equipped to deal with a complete range of different threats. Do you have any suggestions of particular specialist areas we should look to try and make part of the Hohenfels exercise?"

"I think everything that you stated would be acceptable. Ireland looks forward to the joint training. I'll let our Department of Defence know of the exercise and have them coordinate which Brigade will be going. As soon as I know, I'll forward you all the details."
