Sathirathai-Yildiz Communiqué on Socialist Fraternity and Solidarity
Preamble
The 2006 proletarian revolution in Türkiye, led by the country’s Confederation of Trade Unions, stands as a historically monumental development concurrent with the materially historical inevitability of capitalism’s collapse due to its internal contradiction and the tendency of the rate of profit to fall. It is a vibrant tapestry amidst the grand history of humanity, where subsequent modes of production will lead to the eventual global struggle for the working-class self-emancipation. The People’s Republic of Türkiye is a legitimate and democratic successor state based on the collective will of the Turkish people seeking the end of alienation of labor and from their species-being. Echoing the revolutionary fervor of the 1998 proletarian revolution in Thailand, the breakdown of the bourgeois nationalist regime in Türkiye is yet another conscious attempt by the proletariat to fulfill their historical role of communism realization; a global classless, stateless, and moneyless society.
Shared Socialist Principles and Paths
The Socialist Republic of Thailand (SRT) and the People’s Republic of Türkiye (PRT) unwaveringly assert our eternal commitment to revolutionary socialism, scientific principles of Marxism, and a socialist mode of production grounded in the needs and dignity of the working class. We are dedicated to building systems that reflect and prioritize the people's collective will, not bowing down to the power of capital.
Since the development of industrial capitalism in the 18th century, proletarian and associated producers have always served as a class of societal, cultural, economic, political, and international changes. They are the laborers whose surplus values are stolen by the bourgeoisie, whose work becomes increasingly unfulfilling, and whose innate creativity as human beings is alienated by wage slavery under capitalism. This material deprivation of the workers led to the successful proletarian revolutions in Thailand and Türkiye.
Under liberal democracy, the middle class and petite-bourgeoisie co-opt with the bourgeoisie and Bonapartists to quell class consciousness and revolutionary potential under the so-called competition between ‘progressive’ and ‘conservative’ parties. In contrast, the SRT and the PRT are founded under people-centric systems. We reject the indoctrinated logic of capital accumulation and private ownership of productive assets in favor of political governance and economic systems that serve the people’s collective will.
The transition from capitalism to socialism, and indeed the development of socialism into communism, is a historically, materially, and contextually contingent process. The wisdoms of past revolutionaries inform our dialectical understanding that diverse paths to socialism and communism must be respected and supported, given the genuine approval and participation of the working class. Despite our different interpretations of Marxism, we are united under the banner of proletarian internationalism.

National Self-Determination and Anti-Imperialism
Recognizing the persistent threats of counter-revolutionary forces and capitalist aggression, we unequivocally condemn any attempted interference in the domestic affairs of sovereign nations. The victory and achievement of legitimate, people-led revolutions will not be easily crumpled under the pressure of global capital. Capitalist states must be reminded that they do not have any right to dictate the terms of other nations when their entire economic systems are built on exploitation, ingrained patriarchy, and electoral proceduralism.
The SRT and the PRT recognize that imperialism is the highest stage of capitalist development, and thus, the wrath of capital will not stop its greed domestically. The bourgeoisie of one nation-state will keep looking for their empires’ expansion, leading to the race to the bottom, where laborers are only paid enough to come to work and reproduce. Liberal democratic nations worldwide are serving the interests of their billionaires and multinational corporations instead of improving the welfare of the people.
Amidst this grand, systemic scheme, the global proletariat must stand in solidarity against neoliberal policies and further privatization of public goods. Capitalist enclosure is an ongoing threat that only proletarian internationalism could counter and achieve universal human emancipation. The struggle of the working class knows no borders, and we, as communists, are against any institutionalization and indoctrinated cultural acceptance of inequality and injustice under capitalism.

Bilateral Cooperation
In the praxis of international solidarity, the SRT will enter a formalized agreement of Thai military presence in Türkiye and provide rigorous training for the PRT’s new People’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (PRGC). We are committed to enhancing our self-defense capabilities against counter-revolutionary threats and capitalist oppression. The people’s armed forces of our nations shall be loyal to the revolution that only the proletariat could have conducted successfully.
The SRT will offer expertise, guidance, and insight in constructing a socialist economic system. We envision a system where the workers own the means of production and the market mechanism is increasingly reduced in favor of democratic planning. Under the Thai Development Assistance Program, the SRT will assist the PRT in recovering its economy, redistributing wealth, improving the people’s welfare, and empowering the Turkish working class.
The SRT and the PRT are committed to close political and diplomatic coordination between our nations’ highest governing bodies. We will consult regularly, exchange best practices, and harmonize foreign policies when possible. The SRT supports the PRT in its future membership of the Socialist International and guarantees the PRT’s independence and security from any external aggression. Both nations are committed to safeguarding the other’s revolutionary achievement through all means.
Moreover, the SRT and PRT promote the immediate cessation of all armed conflicts, the release of hostages, and the provision of humanitarian aid to the vulnerable population. We are committed to revolutionizing our social programs, education, healthcare, and housing for the benefit of the people, aiming to transcend any social democratic welfare state comprehensiveness. Our nations will promote cultural exchange and ideological education to strengthen socialist consciousness.

Future Direction
In closing, the Socialist Republic of Thailand and the People’s Republic of Türkiye reiterate our shared goal of global communism and the universal human emancipation from alienation. This Thai-Turkish alliance is a crucial development for 21st-century socialism, serving as a prominent example of international solidarity between revolutionary states. We are certain that this is a significant yet small step amidst humanity’s grand history. However, it offers a model of potent resistance toward the prevailing capitalist world order for the global proletariat. We are on the right revolutionary path toward communism.
