After a few minutes the Attorney General would issue a phonecall to William Helrig on a secure and private line.

"Hello? How can I be os assistance?"

The phone call would be answered by Mr William Heldig directly from his private office and the line encrypted and recorded as expected. Given the gravity of the case William would be working deep into the evenings, long after many of his colleagues and partners had left the office to return to their families. It was no small feat to bring legal proceedings to an international court, nonetheless one that dates back almost a decade. Nevertheless the phone is pushed to his ear by his shoulder allowing him to speak into the phone.

“Attorney General, thank you for getting back to me so quickly… I think my letter may have covered a lot of why I needed to speak to you. I need to discuss the Sachsen-class Frigate with you, is this something you have knowledge of?”

The Portuguese Attorney General furrowed his brow, clearly perplexed by the sudden inquiry.

"Mr. Heldig, good evening. I must admit, this topic comes as quite a surprise. The Sachsen-class Frigate, you say? While I am broadly familiar with the concept of naval procurement and the broader legal frameworks surrounding military assets, I can't say I have an in-depth understanding of this specific vessel or its operational context. It’s a rather unusual matter to bring to the attention of an Attorney General, I must confess."

He leaned forward in his chair, scribbling notes as he spoke.

"Given the technical nature of what you’re referring to, I wonder if this might be better directed toward our Secretary of Defense, Augusto Santos Silva. I can certainly facilitate adding him to the call, or even arrange for a separate discussion where he can provide clarity on the subject. Is this a matter of legal implications involving the frigate, or is this more of a strategic and defense-related concern? Your letter was intriguing but left me with many questions."

Pausing briefly, his tone remained calm but curious.
"I’d appreciate if you could shed more light on why this particular issue has warranted such urgency and what role you envision for my office in this. Rest assured, we are ready to assist, but I believe a clearer understanding of the matter would help us approach it effectively."
He awaited the response, visibly intrigued by the uunusual nature of the query. Connor
