Following an extensive analysis of the Swedish Royal Navy as part of the Defence White Paper 1996 by the Department of Defence, the decision has been reached to release surplus equipment no longer compatible with the vision of the Swedish Armed Forces.
Bidding will begin at $3,700,000 per unit and will conclude in seven days.

G-Class Landing Craft [100 Available]​

The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration reserve the right to conclude bidding at the achievement of a satisfactory value, in extraordinary circumstances.

The Canadian Armed Forces would offer a bid of 88,800,000.00$ for 24 G-class Landing Crafts.

The Belgian Armed Forces would bid 94,000,000 for 15 G-class Landing Crafts

The Belgian Armed Forces were informed privately if they were to double their order to 30 craft, their request would be approved immediately.

The auction continues for the remaining craft, Canada and Belgium are asked to send their respective monies to complete the sale.

The Belgian armed forces would bid 98,000,000 for 32 crafts

Canada would be sent their requested crafts following security of payment.

Belgium's offer would be declined on the basis that this falls below the minimum unit cost and is only a 4 million dollar increase for double the initially requested products.

The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration are eager to sell the remaining 76 craft in their fleet, for this reason bidding has ended and all remaining products are on sale at the aforementioned minimum bid price. First come, first served.
