[1] PREAMBLE

[1a] BACKGROUND​

With note to the rapid political change and huge financial and military uprising, the Republic of France has flagged on numerous occasions within the Swedish Military Intelligence Branch - their secretive and manipulative correspondence technique and ghosting of mainland Europe has lead to a presumption of irratic behaviour and as a result the SMIB as deemed in necessary to push forward preventative measures and as a result an Operational Directive has been pushed to the Department of Defence pending authorisation. There is a gap is Swedish self-defence and no amount of mass production will cover it. It is essential that the Kingdom of Sweden begin branching out to intelligence-based global positioning in order to better understand international threat, at this stage there is no known operation of this kind. With note to the highly sensitive nature of this operation a TOP SECRET tag has been attached to all documentation with credit to the clear risk of international tension should a leak occur (reference: Document Classification ans Security Act 2013 (portfolio holder Swedish Security Service)).​

Early one morning in the Swedish Military Intelligence Branhc Operations Support Centre, the post room recieves a large sealed wallet containing a heap of documentation marked and stamped direct from the Department for Defence - the documents are clearly marked 'TOP SECRET' and throughout their journey this far have been carrier via secure courier within the DfD staff. The documents immediately make their way to the Operations Resource Manager (ORM) who flicks through the stack, catching his eye is a green form containing the signature of Peter Hultqvist, the governmental authority required to activate Operation Talisman.

With little to no time to waste the ORM marches into the centre from his officer and darts his eyes to the Human Intelligence Desk (HUMINT) who very quickly glance from their screens to the manager standing over them. The operation lawful authority is left on their desk with very little verbal communication other than a subtle "get Ms Sundström her package" which to the HUMINT desk is a very simple and obvious command. They immediately leave their seats and throw their headsets to the keyboard before marching across to the main building. The Operations Resource Centre is a secure office only accessible by authorised personnel, the room is secured with card access and a unique 3-digit pigcode for each access card, CCTV and regular patrols cover the buildings which are reaffirmed by back-up emergency generators and constant monitoring from various agencies.

Nour Sundström is immediately summoned to ORC preparation centre where a forged Swiss passport is provided in the name of Charmaine Jacques - this passport is made to an unidentifiable standard, unless of course working for the Swiss Government or equivalent border agency where expert details could be detected with the right technology. In addition to her passport she is also provided $3,000.00 in cash, all booking information for a prepaid (by a spoofed card) Skoda Octavia hired from Hertz at Charles de Gaulle International Airport, a secure and encrypted laptop with software to appear as a regular operational home computer, a falsified resume with spoofed employer telephone numbers answerable by the Swedish Military Intelligence Branch, an encrypted smartphone with remote access and control, a selection of culture appropriate clothing and accessories, information for a prepaid (by a spoofed card) hotel room at Best Western Premier Louvre Saint Honore and numerous 'sentimental' objects all within a hard-case suitcase with a regular passenger padlock and identifiable markings on the hood. Within the lining of the suitcase is a small consumer-purchasable tracker available via an application on the smartphone.

Having viewed the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs website it is understood that there is absolutely no necessity for visa applications or any form of physical documentation to allow long-term access to the country.

Conveniently the French Government announced the establishment of a Visa Application for foreign nations following the development of the Beauvais Campaign and as a result all forward planning has come to a halt to ensure lawful and safe entry for the HUMINT officer, this stage in the process has resulted in the necessity to submit the application pending the approval of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. Naturally this process is conducted electronically under an IP mask tracing to Switzerland and with forged documentation allowing the genuine tracing to a Swiss national by the name of Charmaine Jacques whose identity has been cloned for the benefit of this operation.

This process however does highlight the necessity for the $3,000.00 to be moved to an independent isolated banking facility untracable via the internet, this facility will hold the remaining $2,000.00 that cannot be physically taken through French customs however does allow the capability for Swedish Military Intelligence to drop further funding into the account for the duration of the operation. The bank card physically in Nour's possession holds the details of her alias and any contact details for this bank will be diverted to the Human Intelligence Desk by means of spoofed telephone number. In addition to this work will now begin to identify Charmaine Jacques fingerprints within Swedish national databases (military, law enforcement and medical) in order to create the necessary spoofs for entry to France. The Swiss Identity Card is an easy forge as the information is very similar to that of the passport and very basic research capabilities allow for easy identification of an accurate and modern Swiss ID, again creation of this card is done to a level that's undetectable by the untrained eye and the falsified documents appear completely genuine.

The SMIB will now wait for Visa Application approval by the French Government.

⌈ ROLEPLAY NOTICE ⌋

Hello @Sumit and @Connor ,

After reviewing the presented case, the MN Staff Team has considered that there are no argumented reasons for France denying the visa to the "swiss" citizen.

The fact that France states that "it has no official diplomatic relation" has not yet been mentioned before at any point in roleplay, therefore it cannot be conveniently applied now (no real reasons available). Tha same goes for the suspicious timing of the new visa requirements from France.

To not mess up the flow of the roleplay, we will not invalidate the whole visa application move, but limit ourselves to void post #4, considering what was explained in the paragraph above.

SWISS In-Flight​

DEPARTURE TIME
No more delays. The Department for Defence eagerly awaits the deployment of a Swedish intelligence operation abroad and with the mission taking longer expected the Swedish Military Intelligence Branch are pushed towards making a decision; deploy or abandon. Naturally the decision to abandon the mission is one not at the top of the departments deck, especially considering the reputation risk internally for an operation that barely lifted off the ground before the white flag was raised. It's no secret internationally that France is heavily involved in conflict away from home and there'd be no better time than the present to get Operation Talisman in full swing.

Detection being the key to operational failure the HUMINT desk book flights from their off-network terminals which have all internet protocols spoofed and masked in order to deter any potential tracking. Two flights are booked for the journey to France in order to make the journey appear as legitimate travel from Switzerland to France; naturally these flights are booked by two completely separate payments by optimising two bank accounts and directly from the flight operators website rather than via comparison websites which obviously pose a risk with their data-sharing policies. The first flight is booked to fly with SWISS airlines from Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) to Zurich Airport (ZRH) aboard an Airbus A321 bearing flight index 'LX 1255', this is followed by the first connecting flight from Zurich Airport (ZRH) to Genève Aéroport (GVA) aboard an Bombardier CS300 bearing flight index 'LX 2818'. The final leg of the journey is two final connecting flights, the first being flight '9U 452' flying from Genève Aéroport (GVA) to Chișinău International Airport (KIV) aboard an Air Moldova Embraer RJ-190 and finally from Chișinău International Airport (KIV) to Aéroport Paris Beauvais Tillé (BVA) on another Air Moldova connecting flight '9U 283'; an Airbus A319.

From Aéroport Paris Beauvais Tillé a private taxi is pre-booked to meet the HUMINT operative at the airport, this again pre-paid and by the same method as the flights, the destination being Charles de Gaulle Airport where the hire car waits.

Nour Sundström rests overnight, eager for her departure to France in the morning.
