The trainer pilot had delivered all hundred of Saab JA37 T(D) to each airbase since 27th January 2000. The Royal Thai Air Force has always wanted the pilots to participate in the training program. The pilot, trainer, ground crew are well-trained but have no experience with the new aircraft. They only know about the theoretical aspect of JA37 T(D) that the Air Force has provided them. The engineer and maintenance worker would gather around each aircraft and check the aircraft's condition. They would learn the practical task during that time. The trainer of each Saab JA37 T(D) would talk to the pilot of their aircraft. They would learn about the basics and get taught by the trainer how to operate the aircraft. The ground crew and pilot would learn to use and maintain the JA37 T(D) in the practical session. But no take-off would happen that day.

The pilot now knows how to operate JA37 T(D) on land. The ground crew learns how to maintain the new aircraft. Today, the pilots have to participate in Vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). The pilots gather in the morning to pair up with their trainer. The ground crews refuel the aircraft and check its condition. The Air Force uses half of the runways in each airport. The commercial flight will continue as usual, and the passengers will see the aircraft. The ground crews haul three JA37 T(D) into the runway each flight. The pilot and the trainer get on their vehicle and communicate. The trainer would teach and help the pilot to take off safely. They will fly in Vic formation. The Aircraft marshaller stands on the sideway and will signal them. The pilots would take off with control, and the trainer would take control in an accident. They would fly for an hour each flight in a radius of 5 kilometers before landing down. The aircrew will continue the schedule until further notice.

For the past eight days, the pilot and ground crew have put their skills to the test. They may now work on a Saab JA37 T(D) in various fields. They have figured out how to maintain, fix, and fly the plane. They have advanced to the level of intermediate Air Force troops, and they are ready to do a serious job. Today they will have to deal with more challenging tasks. The ground staff will have to equip the plane with missiles, and the pilots will have to fly it. For one training flight, the Air Force requires 200 RB71 Skyflash and 400 RB99 AMRAAM, of which they have over a thousand in total and can sustain up to four flights. The aviation arms companies have been reinforcing the Air Force arsenal. The ground team will put 2 RB71 Skyflash and 4 RB99 AMRAAM missiles to the plane, and the pilot will fly the JA37 T(D) but will not fire it today. They will continue with the same routine but exceed 10 kilometers.

The pilots now know how to operate at a stable rate. They have over 120 hours in flying hours since the start of the training. They master both day and night flights without being nervous about the airspace environment. They are now ready for the next level. They have to begin the reconnaissance mission with their trainer with the same armament with 125 rounds in the 30 mm Oerlikon KCA cannon and unlock the U95 ECM pod. They have to fly within 200 kilometers from their base and only stay inside the border and maritime zone. The trainer will give the pilot the task of surveillance each area in the radius. They will adapt to this schedule from now.

It has been four days since their reconnaissance training. They have been flying around, and most civilians in the area would acknowledge their mission. The pilot has mastered the system of the JA37 T(D) after 50 flying hours and has used it numerous times. Now, they have to take off from their airbase and land at other airbases (Hat Yai>Prachuap Khiri Khan>Kamphang Saen>Udron>Chiang Mai>Hat Yai). The ground crew and pilot have to master to coordinate with each other. They will adapt to this schedule from now.

On 28th February 2000, the training would have finished. The pilot has mastered the aircraft, and the ground crew has experience. The training is done, and everything is back to normal.
