Excellency,
The Permanent Mission of the Socialist Republic of Thailand to the Global Assembly has the honor to submit the attached draft titled “Declaration of International Labor Standard” for consideration, to be discussed during the 10th Session of the Global Assembly General Assembly.
This draft resolution has been prepared with the aim of reaffirming the inherent right of all individuals to work, free choice of employment, safe working condition, equal pay, equal work, favorable remuneration, form and join trade unions, and reasonable limitation of working hours and period holiday with pay, as guaranteed by the United Nation Declaration of Universal Human Rights. It reflects the collective interests of Member States in advancing human rights, as enshrined in Article 1(3) of the Character of the Global Assembly.
We respectfully request the Secretariat to undertake the necessary procedural actions to circulate this draft to all Member States in accordance with established rules and procedures. We further request that it be made available in all official languages of the Global Assembly.
Should there be any additional requirements or clarifications needed regarding this submission, the Permanent Mission of the Socialist Republic of Thailand remains at your disposal.
